Awe thanks so much! You should hear her on the day she gets home-raised meal worms, then she's off the scale but you have to be right there with the camera and she notices that and goes all shy! All the very best Sue xx

Squee so full of joie de vivre, puts me in the mood with a smile on my face. How delightful. I love chickens and could take as much as you can dish out, so to speak.

Hi Charles Happy New Year! Yes I think so too, a combination of 'hurrah it's food 'and I''m so happy you let me in to the area where I can eat with just a few others' - or as here 'on my own,' which is why she gave me one of her most noisy greetings! All the very best, Sue xx

Hi there I am so glad - this is the same feeling I get every morning when she does this, it's sheer joy that she passes on to us. A few days recently, she's been up in the tree roosting outside and then she's too busy eating with the rest to say anything. Those days I just have the coming in to coffee and cooked breakfast to cheerfully start the day - but that's pretty good too! All the very best for the New Year, Sue xx

Hi Mags, good to hear from you - she is so happy to see her breakfast - I guess she takes after me because I feel the same when I come in from feeding them all on a cold morning, for my breakfast. I guess you know the feeling, big mug of coffee, cooked breakfast, warm log stove and just now, a terrible Christmas film - I'm saving the good ones for nearer the time! Much love, Sue xx

Awe thanks so much Gina - to tell the truth it's sometimes hard to be creative in the present climate but things are looking up as they say and this short is just part of a much longer film about chicken speak: 'Hello I'm here and....' and the many ways a bird makes its presence felt - I also have another two film that I'm editing at the same time. However, I appreciate Squee's daily conversation so much and thought she deserved her own film! Much love Sue xxxx
