    It looks like the mirror face of the racket is pointing to the back wall instead of to the ball, which is different from what you recommend. Any thoughts on this?

    Yes it is one point I didn't say in the video. In this position Amanda is going for full throttle power and happy to have a flat and closed racket face slapping into the ball. This is what I am seeing from this pic. There are other pics where she cocks the wrist and looking to use the bottom edge to carve the ball in but this is a good example (and different) for slapping the ball with power. Hope that makes sense?
