I love the sportsmanship these guys show when another player hits a great shot!

The comradery is amazing.
What I like as well as the technical skill here is the camaraderie shown in these shots! It seems like in the majority of them the 'victim' is all too ready to have a smile, a laugh, a handshake, a pat on the back or even a hug. It warms my heart that even at the highest level of play, with the most intense competition, these guys still remember that it's a game with friends.
Thank you Maestro for all incredible moments you are offering us all these years
#1 for me, purely because it's 100% Mo's signature shot, and no-one else really has a signature, outright shot that's theirs. It's definitely wayyy too flashy, but it's unbelievably cool
I played squash from age four up all through undergraduate school. I'm in medical school now and I miss it so much! This brings back a lot of fond memories.

Despite Shabana reach 36 age old But he is the only one has 3 amazing points in this compilation , What a such legend !
"top-schpinnen hausen - that is a thanks-for-coming"

same LOL
#6 for sure... What a wrist!
#6 April Amr Shabana v Ramy Ashour: EL Gouna International. So many great shots though...
They are all exquisite, but I think #11 Shabana for me.
shabana federer of squash
#11 was the best!
#6 Amr Shabana. It takes an incredible shot to force the best shot maker in modern squash to drop his racquet and start applauding!
Very close, but has to be #6 Shabana for me, wasn't even looking at the front wall and practically broke his wrist to play the shot!
#12 November Miguel Angel Rodriguez v Zahed Mohamed: Qatar PSA World Championship It looks quick even in slo-mo!
#13 Nick Matthew - no better feeling than smashing in a nick!
These are so great. I'd say #6 but really there are others here I'd have no problem seeing win.
#6 Shabana... Soo many good ones to choose from
#6 Shabana - Thanks for coming
The Maestro "dislocating his wrist" shot - TOPS!!
All awesome shots! I would vote for 6 and 7. Thank you for making this summary!
#6 April Amr Shabana v Ramy Ashour: EL Gouna International
My second pick would be #12 Rodriguez, a brilliantly effective winner that didn't depend on inch-perfect placement. But top vote has to go to #1 El Shorbagy. We're all so used to seeing him do it that we forget how crazy it is - turning a shot most of us couldn't hit at all into an outright winner, again and again.
Daryl selby Number 3. Right from the back of the court, hits the nick perfectly.
Number 1. Shorgabs shot has to be the winner because it is original, deceptive and perfectly executed. His opponent had no clue what was going on like he had just seen a shot from the future.... Rosners was the best example of the backhand fake cross court top spin volley in to the nick. I was surprised not to see Wilstrops triple windmill deception shot on the list but maybe that was 2013.....All great shots and amasing to watch. Cheers guy
#4 Willstrop, considering the pressure of the rally.
So difficult to call! I'm gonna go with #10 Rosner just because he is so far back in the court and gets a top shpinnen backhand rolling nick.
#6 Shabana Pure classy drop shot- Can't beat that
#7 Daryl Selby, Amazing overhead backhand volley!
Amr "dislocated wrist" shot for me, thank you :D
#12 is incredibly creative...
Hard one. These guys are awesome. Going for 'The Maestro" #6
#6 Shabana for me!
#6 Shabana vs Ashour. That's touch if I've ever seen it!
# January1: Elshobagy. The ball just rolled, no other player on the PSA world tour can do that. This is why it is the shot of the year.....
How do you choose? Almost any one you choose could be argued against any other. For me, it can't be the top spin volley drop or the cross court drop from behind, because there are identical ones here. I think it's Willstrop, personally, because he hits such an exquisite winner from under so much pressure.
#6 April Amr Shabana v Ramy Ashour: EL Gouna International He seemed to have complete control of the shot, rather than just using a limp wrist.
Matthews' shot gets it for me.
shabana!! Impressive wrist flick on both forehand and backhand.
Got to be Shabana at 4.07. The skill required to fake a drive and then take the weight off the shot in a fraction of a second, along with the touch to place the ball so perfectly into the front nick...well, that's amazing.
#12 Rodriguez. Not a nick like all the other ones, just a brilliant shot
#6 Sabana, Shot of the century
Has to be #6 Amr Shabana. Epic...
The 4 people that disliked this video have never hit a volley nick. I like Momen's shot here, even though I've gotten crap for it from friends. It's a volley from ankle height that does the same thing Shabana's shot does, even though it isn't hit from behind him. I love that shot.
#3 March Daryl Selby v James Willstrop: Canary Wharf Classic
#6 Maestro!
#6! Amr Shabbana!
#11: Amr Shabana
#6 April, Amr Shabana vs Ramy Ashour - El Gouna
Back in the day we used to practice all those shots from weird places as a way to beat the terrier retrievers esp when like me you werent a retriever.
I think that the best shot is #6 April Amr Shabana v Ramy Ashour: EL Gouna International
#5 April Ramy Ashour v Simon Rösner: EL Gouna Internationa
#6 best for me...although late post...but beautiful shot
# 10 Simon Rosner is the best because the opponent (Gaultier) was ready at the T and the shot dropped dead just before him.
#3 Daryl Selby
#11 Shabana
Not easy to decide. I am about to post 4 at least. However i am going to decide for... #6 EL MAESTRO AMR SHABANA
#6 Shabana
#6 Amr Shabana vs Ramy Ashour
#3 March Selby
#6 (with apologies to my coach at San Diego squash who does NOT recommend that shot)
Rosner's topspinnen! (#10)
No . 6 shabanna vs ashour No.13 gaultier vs matthiew
Why this gorgeous video not in full HD

We made the change to HD at the start of 2015.
#6 Shabana FTW!
Shabana's nick that rolls out.
#10 Simon Rosner
#13 Matthew (his shotmaking is really underrated)
shabanas/el shorbagy's twennie?
#6 April, amazing !
Either 4.or 6
Selby in March and May and Rodriguez in November (Y)
#12 November
Don't mind which one, but it has to be Shabana!
Spoke to Shab's doctor... his wrist if officially made of rubber! Got to be #6 for me! #maestro

Well thanks for letting me know...
music?
#3 That was just insane
#7 May Daryl Selby v Nick Matthew: Allam British Open
no 6 Shabana for sure! can't teach that
#5 April Ramy Ashour v Simon Rösner: EL Gouna International
I don't think anyone can best the very first shot of the compilation by El Shorbagy
@beetlejews
7 жыл бұрын
Why am I the chosen one
I will say #7 Selby, and then #6 Shabana this are the most difficult shots to achieve, and I choose Selby in first place because hitting the ball so high backwards and so far on the court and hit the nick is almost impossible, i mean, you can try to do that and in 100 attempts you couldnt do that
@musicandoutdoors
6 жыл бұрын
Andres Fernandez Cabrera I agree with both choices
#11 November Amr Shabana v Nick Matthew: Qatar PSA World Championship
Jahangeer Khan would play such Shots nearly in every rally
#3 Selby to keep the title....
The Year of Shabana Seriously how many shots does he have on this list ?? 3 Shots wow
I’m speechless
# 5 ashour lion's heart
#6 April
Ashour v rosner was wrong we hit was 3-3 but the score bar said 4-2
Selby #7
#10 October Simon Rösner v Gregory Gaultier: Delaware Investments US Open Best Top Spin Ever!
I love how the Ashour v Rosner one the commentator pronounces joke so exaggeratedly
#6 the maestro
Selby's Roller
#10 Rosner
Shabana is squash
I know its already been given but... no7 for me, selbys back hand...super. maybe rosner though. nah, is amr, I think.
#13 the wolf :D
