Thanks a lot for the nice video, it's always pleasure to watch your work! May I just ask what is the reason for not alternating the wood grains at 0:44 when gluing the boards as it seems to be plain sawn? I guess it's for aesthetic reasons to have nicer looking table top but other than that do you think it could help prevent cupping or it's safe enough with this approach too? Thank you once again and keep up nice work!

This is what the teacher taught when I was studying woodworking, and it appears in many books. The aesthetic part is the first, and the warpage is deformed even when considering the end grain of the wood. I think the priority is to make it structurally enough to respond even if there is a transformation. There seems to be no right answer for making furniture. I've been in touch with trees for 10 years, but it's always new and there's so much to study. Thanks for the question.

안녕하세요. 접합부위를 제외한 표면은 고운마감을 하고 물티슈로 닦으면 상대적으로 거스러미가 덜 올라옵니다. 보통 접합 부위를 더 신경써 샌딩으로 마무리 합니다. 저는 아우로 126번을 사용합니다. 감사합니다~

I use oil 126 as an auro from a German company. When completely dry, the table top is coated with a water-based varnish.

Hello Hyun (I hope I’ve said that correct, apologies if it isn’t). I hope you and your family are well. From the first time I commented on your video, you have come a long way (from an editing perspective - your work has always been perfection). I find your videos truly inspiring and if I may ask you some personal questions? May I ask what got you into woodworking and what your design inspirations are? I find what you do fascinating and I think I’m honing in on what it is I want to do with regards to woodworking, and that, I think, is furniture making. I have a long way to go (I don’t have a workshop or a garage to convert), but I at least know what to aim for now. Anyway, this was such a wonderful video and the editing was perfect. The South Korean name is Lee Hyun-seung, I think my work is always lacking But I know I have to do my best for what I'm doing I started to be interested in wood, and I thought that I recklessly got a job in the workshop. Fortunately, I was successful in that workshop, and because I saw the possibility, I decided to walk the path as a furniture maker. And it's been 7 years since it made and sold furniture Of course, there were many difficult times in the meantime, I had a lot of thoughts, but only because I liked woodwork and had hope I think I've been running so far If you steadily prepare for your dreams and try hard, good things will happen chris~ Always be healthy and wish you good luck!

You worked in a workshop. Brilliant! It must have been great to have a mentor to help you learn and perfect your craft.
