For Connections, you were definitely one away the second time but did not get the popup. You hit a bug there. My first thought is that it might be caused by guessing really quickly, before the previous guess's popup has a chance to fade, but I haven't been able to reproduce it.

agreed. you have to give it a second between guesses otherwise you wont get the pop-up

Very good Dordle solve. I wasted a guess trying genetics jargon (CODON). Oh no. You found a bug in the UI of Connections. If you make a quick one-away guess while the previous one-away animation is still running, you won't get a new one-away notification. The notification is too quick anyway and I have occasionally missed it. What a lousy UI design. Excellent Symble. I found myself in the _ERRY trap and played BLUFF to test between BERRY, FERRY and other options. MERRY was no longer possible but I saw JERRY and PERRY as possible options (turns out, they are not on the A-list). Nice Squaredle. We have slightly different strategies: I try to avoid guessing incorrect words, aiming for the perfect accuracy score. I am not going to repeat all the bonus words I found because you'll never know if they are clean. I know BRIT is a young fish. LOL, I guess LITER could be pronounced that way too. EMIR is the ruler of an Arab emirate (some of them are united). My results: Dordle #706: 6/7, 0:xx Connections #203: 🎯, 1:xx Symble #650: 5/8, 1:xx (SONIC - DELTA - MERRY - BLUFF - FERRY) Squaredle 12/30: 36/36 (+8), 🎯 Perfect accuracy, 24:47

So I'm not crazy! I guess I have to go slower with Connections. I wish it just displayed your wrong guesses somewhere and the result (1 away or not).
I'd like to see you do the New York Times Mini Crossword for tomorrows bonus game, that would be cool to see.
