My best ever round of squad in my 6 years of playing the game: It was on the Dynamic Direction mod (those of you who had the chance to play it consider yourself lucky). It was on the map Yehorivka US vs Russia and i was squad leading (US). The whole team decided to make a superFOB in the middle of a wheat field and each squad had to defend a sector of it. The constant teamwork and communication that went into it in order to coordinate the whole thing was insane. All squads saw intense action as we were almost surrounded, but eventually we won. Even the enemies used some incredible coordination with combined arms tactics in irder to assault us, so the whole thing was very intense fir bith sides. The whole round was so damn good that i was just hoping it wouldn't end. We played in a way i didn't think possible in squad and ever since, that has been my golden standard. Yes, action matters in an FPS game, but what really makes squad great is the teamwork...❤

I still think squad is the best game to get someone to actively use their mic and communicate. Your biggest hurdle with some new players is they are too shy or anxious to communicate with their mic. This happens in all games requiring teamwork but it seems to be more prevalent in games with smaller lobby sizes and simpler VoIP systems (i.e csgo). Squad’s 3 different VoIP layers along with its lobby sizes and community help make most games a friendly place for these sorts of players to open up and use their mic. It is a lot easier to get someone to start talking when 20 other people are fooling around in proximity chat that only they can hear.

Also with the combat overhaul you can be doing something by just shooting in the direction of the enemy

Meanwhile i'm playing Rising Storm 2 today and hear someone talk for the first time. Unfortunately it was a very chatty Dutch man who spoke like he was prerecorded overwatch voicelines every 10 seconds.

What I like about the game design is every round is always very different. even on the same map with the same faction you will never get the same repetitive gameplay.

We don't know, but it is... lol but nah fr from the outside looking in it may not make sense to have an Army and a Marine Corps, but the Marines are basically the Navy's Army, in a way; and they also have their own aviation, but that's also the Navy; and it's...uhhh so yeah Marines eat crayons

The unarmed was a prelude to whats supposed to be civilian in PR which would cost tickets if killed. And could be captured.we still waiting 3 weeks nice video

Finally about damn time the game is going on the right way, especially with the changes to recoil and sway changes. The only thing that's missing are attack helicopters and jets (imagine SU-25s, A-10s, Mi-24s and AH-1s, etc.) Btw, no AKs for the MEA #NotMyMEA (little callback to #NotMyMEC that was spammed on PR forum posts as a response to those saying that the MEC should have their G3s replaced ;)

ehh, honestly I'd be ok with no jets but attack helis would be pretty cool. And I'm not saying the G3 should be replaced but add in the AK for a little more variety lol

@@Tantwo eh, then it's not a "successor to PR", that's like Arma 4 not having jets despite being a milsim game (with Operation Flashpoint itself having jets since 2001), so ? What gives ? I mean, I would like to see the MP5 return, and if there's the VDV and Marine variant of the PLA. Then I think a branch of the MEA could work

The figures you show on 0:56 is mostly quite normal. There is 18 years between those prices. Ideal total inflation in 18 years is 45%. Only Venezuela is too high and the US is a bit high. Denmark's inflation is way too low.

It's worth it. It's realistic and accessible unlike other realistic shooters.

That’s a u problem

so i had a buddy join the marine corps. he's a good dude, but legit one of the dumbest people ive ever met and he 100% took a shit on his ASVAB. I think the requirements for entry tend to be lower in the marine corps (at least from my impression), which is why the crayon eater schtick is there.

​@@mzilber1doesnt suck at all. There was an update recently which made combat a bit tricker, ie you have recatch your breath after sprinting to aim properly. To encourage teamwork gameplay Anyways I quit a while back because the game was boring as hell and no one ever really used their mocs to coordinate much. Its an entirely different vibe now. Been playing daily for hours at a time. Try it and decide for yourslef
