Exactly, I love how in the original you could tell he was kind of a bad guy by his tone, but in this version, he sounds genuinely insulted, like dude's just chillin' on his sofa.

Yeah, I don't know what were they thinking when designing bosses in third game. Sorceress is miserable in comparison to Ripto. Even more so in Reignited trilogy where they butchered all main bosses in the Year of the Dragonm:/

I have to say this trilogy brought Spyro back to his former glory. I am so tempted to buy it now.

Spyro 1 bosses are not bad, they are just not really bosses, more like regular levels with a unique feature in the end. Spyro 1 was an extremely chill and relaxing game, the regular bosses wouldn't really fit.

Except for Gnasty being a mega chicken and killing the mood with his barrage of dirty tricks plucked straight from the bag of bad early 3D game ideas, from a marathon of chase sequences that all have to be done in one run with no checkpoints to ridiculous surprise instant deaths that force you to do everything from the very beginning unlike every other boss level in the game.

@@aminabegum7259 that's strange. Spyro 2 and 3 are not hard, but they have some tricky side challenges. And I can't really remember any hard moments from Spyro 1 except for the couple of Beast Makers levels

It makes sense now with Gnasty Gnorc. He just want to have quiet life without any insults. That’s why he didn’t bother encountering Spyro. It makes me feel bad when he was called ugly. That dragon got what he deserved. Though I can’t say the same for others unless they felt the same.

Well, he did try to take over the Dragon Lands by stealing the treasure that rightfully belonged to the dragons and turning those gems into soldiers for his army, hence why he was banished in the first place.

I remember beating ripto’s 1st phase for the 1st time back in the day. I got cocky and didn’t know about phase 2. I got destroyed. Then when I got through phase 2 I couldn’t take anymore hits. I didn’t expect a phase 3. I died on phase 3. The third time was a charm.

Yknow for some reason the scorch fight from Spyro 3 really stuck with me and for the longest time i didnt even know if it actually existed, but turns out it was just the 3rd Spyro game and not the second. I don't know why but seeing that boss fight really brings some childhood closure back lol

Please note that Gnasty and Ripto survived there battles in the epilogue of the 3rd game, the only characters that died were The sorceress’s monsters, Ripto, Gulp, and Crush and Gnasty’s top minions. In all of the games of the trilogy.

Well then, it's only fair to say that Bianca underwent quite the Redemption Arc in Spyro: Year of the Dragon.

On one hand, I do fully condem this guy as the ultimate spoiler/thumbnail user. On the OTHER hand, you guys should know this already. At this point if you get spoiled by ProsafiaGaming, its kind of your own fault. Well, that... And also in this particular case its a remake of an original game(s) so theres not much to spoil in the first place tbh.

After I 100% spyro reignited trilogy , I came here but when I saw that "Gulp" , it reminds me that it took me decades to defeat , it was painful

Metalhead will forever be my favorite Spyro boss. He looks so cool in the remake too! Shame he only had 2 frames though; I swore he had 3 in the OG, but it's been years since my last play. I feel like I honestly preferred Buzz's fight from the OG; He sounded and looked scarier there than he does here, imo. But his music was still a huge fave of mine so I honestly wouldn't mind replaying them. I don't have the remakes, but man...They'd be fun to go back to after having fun with 1 and 3 on PS1. We never had 2, which is funny, since we didn't have Crash 1 either. xD Also super interesting how they added some classic arcade game refs in 3! Especially the Sparx level bosses. And even reused concepts from 2 for 3's bosses (such as Gulp and Buzz having similar tactics regarding projectiles). EDIT: I meant Buzz, not Bluto...

I wish there was power ups like at 44:07 that you could use for each of Spyro’s to keep with him forever. Super Charge, Flight and Super Flame Attack. Instead of gliding he could fly, and Super Charge he could send enemy’s flying sky high, and with Super Flame take down the toughest Armored Metal Troops. The Combination Power up from Ripto’s Rage 1:00:41 if it was infinite

The Spyro 1 bosses were always stupid easy, but the others, especially Gulp, was much harder than I remember. Granted I've only done Buzz's Dungeon so far, and he was much, much easier.

Idc what anyone says about the bosses. This game and all the bosses are Amazing in my opinion

Kind of bummed they kept the first game's bosses the exact way they were in the original game, where they barely even qualified as bosses and went down with barely a challenge. At least they could have made Gnasty Gnorc put up a bit of a fight and take more hits to defeat.

I am so happy that the kept the old hub world music from gateway to glimmer ( that is what it was called where I am for those of you who think it only had one name)

The Sorceress cleary is shown to be verbally abusive to Bianca and for god knows how long Bianca has put up with the old bitch's insults and other hateful words so it's probably had a long lasting negative effect on the poor girl.

What I want to know is, why couldn't they have made Bentley a bunyip? Since bunyips are Australian mythological creatures, it would make more sense for one to speak with an Australian accent than, well, a yeti.
