The Sunrise Spring Homeworld was completely unexpected and it was great. Actually what's beyond great, amazing. Actually higher than that, outstanding. I was surprised they'd even show that level and I was the most impressed by that level than any of the others. I guess it's because it's the first level in the game and I remember it the most.

Yeah, and the hovering spyro through the sparkling light.. so natural.. It was so weird in the ps 1 version..

The egg opening had no buildup to it like it had in the original. It could be that they skipped the buildup to save time in the footage and the original allowed you to skip it if you wanted so that may be how they did it.

They'll probably change it, if it even is the final version of yotd, I don't think they showed any other eggs hatching so that one might have been something they threw together to show us game play

The egg designs are...flat. But I’m honestly relieved you’re not trying to sit through 15 seconds of egg-exposition (or button mashing to just skip the darn thing. Who CARES? Yes it’s an egg...of the same cyclical 5 designs/5 animations...give or take. Move along...)

Holy cow! Sheila looks better than ever. Can't wait to see what the other characters look like.

I love all of what has been shown on this video, but the Sheila gameplay had my jaw drop to the floor and I was immediately crying with tears of nostalgic joy! The music sounded awesome, the cute sound they added for Sheila's power jump; it was all awesome!

i hate sheilas hair so much.. i get why people also say her proportions look kinda off because of her teeny tiny waist but i think my biggest concern is her hair. without the hair i think i could live with her new design but the hair has to goooo

Everything looks fantastic, but sheila's new design is not for me. It's not because of the hair, it's not the clothes it's just the shape of her body and that narrow hip. I get the feeling that her lower half is from a kangaroo and the upper half is semi human. I think is a design with very bad proportions and something that should review

It does feel too slim but all the female characters in spyro had slimmer upper bodies Maybe if they'll make her more kangaroo it would be nice but I like her design a lot!

i think you guys are nuts, her character model is great. A good character should stand out in a crowd, and have an instantly identifiable silhouette. I think TFB hit the nail right on the head i mean look at her cute little sweater LOL she looks like an australian on a walkabout hahaha

I personally think Sheila's design is alright, I will agree though that she does seem just a tad too slim at the waist, but all in all she's really alright. I will say though I feel her tail seems just a tad on the stiff side, but only just a little. I think if it had a bit more of a bounce or motion curve when she did her high jump, it would be perfect. Otherwise, great job ToysforBob! I'm so happy with everything you have done so far!

Honestly, I hope they change Shiela's waist. I'm not too thrilled with the hair, but it doesn't bother me nearly as much as her waist does. It's WAY too tiny and looks very off, even in her animations. Like she could break and separate at any moment.

Sheila is ok I guess... They need to improve her jump though, it doesn't feel right, she should be heavier than that.

You realize Kangaroos aren't actually that heavy when jumping right? they do light springy jumps but wind up a lot of power in order to develop devastating kicks, they overall aren't heavy animals, they can weigh as small as 40 pounds, to 200 pounds but even then, it's not their legs that has their weight, it's the rest of them

Calm down people, I just stated an impression, I'm not demanding or expecting it. Eventually it's just a tiny little and insignificant detail that will not ruin the game, lower its value or whatever.

I love the little things they're doing, like the grass burns when you use your flame in it, and dust clouds appear when the rhino flaps his wings.

Omg when you uploaded the last skateboard video I was like "Do a flip, I wanna see a flip! Please do a flip!!!" And then in this video they did a flip!!! And it looks perfect!!!! I WANT NOVEMBER TT__TT

The beginning synced up perfectly lmao Awesome!

I love it. I even got teary eyes seeing one of my favorite childhood games reimagined like this. It looks absolutely amazing.

love so much about this!! the yotd levels are beautiful and the barista dragon is great to see!! however, while i could warm up to a lot of sheila's design, that extremely narrow waist is a bit too much for me. doesn't quite look right with her large legs and tail and actually kinda makes my back hurt in sympathy pain.

Yeah but if you think that her attacks and jumps all come from her legs then it makes sense to make them larger. i imagine bentley will be a massive body builder. it just makes sense and im and og spyro guy. playing through the originals again at the moment before the remaster

She's so different

Just as much as I miss the 90's atmosphere and simplicity in my dailylife, I miss the clean style and somewhat refined style of the old games. But again, just as in real life, I very much enjoy the new technologies and latest games; I am not entirely stuck in the past. That's why I will embrace this game, because it deserves it. And I will still enjoy the original version nevertheless !

When I did it at first it was not quite synced but a part of it at the end was, I noticed it and thought it would be a cheeky little set up :P so I shifted the footage around till it looked like he was kinda expressing what I was saying :P

Spyro 3. My personal favorite. Remastered. I could die happy.

So far I haven't been disappointed with any of the released video, and this is no different! I can't wait for this game!

Looks like great sweet fun, and I am really looking forward to playing this spyro reignited trilogy

Everything about the game so far looks incredible. Characters move fluidly, the environments look so alive, and soundtrack has some killer bops. The only thing that bugged me is how short the baby dragon animation was, I hope they aren't all that short...

Why did they change Sheila so drastically? She looks like dinosaur!

This is amazing. I cannot wait for the release of this game. Spyro Year of the Dragon was the first spyro game I played, so this gameplay is the definition of my childhood. I'm welcome to the changes, remastered soundtracks and sheila's redesign is very welcomed. I always thought she looked a little lackluster compared to the others with rockets and laser guns. Thanks for covering her up haha. One thing I'm hoping they're improve upon (I'm confident they will) is the animation for the egg opening. I'm hoping they aren't thinking people will get tired of the egg opening animation. It satisfying to wait through and we always had the option to press start to skip as soon as it hatched so it was never a big deal. Once that gets sorted, I'm ready for my childhood...

Sunny Villa is so freaking beautiful and instantly recognizable! I LOVE IT!

The environments look absolutely spectacular for 3! Although, I can see why the game was delayed for sure. It definitely does need some polish here and there, particularly looking towards Sheila. Her gameplay functions at 100% capacity but some of her animations and expressions (or lack there of) aren't quite there yet imo, it looks to be a rough version of what will be the final. Even still, for a rough that's incredibly good looking, I hope there's a bit of tightening here and there but generally speaking progress looks to be coming along nicely ^^

Sheila's Alps was probably my favorite level due to the Background Music. It was pretty awesome!

All these levels look just like how i remember playing them as a kid, huge props to TFB for really nailing the feel of the various worlds

I honestly don't get why people are whining about Sheila's redesign. She has hair and clothes- so what? Her waist is a problem because it doesn't look natural or realistic? She's a fictional, stylized kangaroo. Yeah, her waist is tiny but if you're legit worried that children will look up to her as some kind of figure model, that's not bad character design that's bad parenting. There's a bipedal skateboarding cheetah in this game.

Can't wait for the bazooka spamming penguin. XD

i bet spyro's friends were so relieved to have sparx helping them. makes things much easier when butterflies make you immortal

Not big on Shiela's design...My biggest gripe is the same as a few others: Her upper body is way too slim in comparison to her lower body. It doesn't mesh well at all and just looks wrong. Widen the torso a bit so that she looks more like a kangaroo, and I can accept it, even with the jacket and hair. But everything else looks amazing, and hey, the Egg Thief sounds better too! :D

I dunno if credit was given, but i love how ferocious the rhynocs look. Dem canines!

Yup. I feel quite relieved that there is a delay now. There are quite a few things that could use some adjustments especially the eggs. I wish they do something about the orbs as well. A lot of work to be done. I am excited for the final product. 😁

My childhood...the sunny villa lvl and cloud spires

I've loved everything Toys for Bob has done with these games so far. But again, the one thing I still really can't get behind is Shiela's redesign. Everything else is absolutely amazing. Glimmer being the most iconic level from my childhood and it looks absolutely amazing! The music sounds great too.

I see that dragon's mustache amd eyebrows and I instantly think about my grandpa---

It's nice to finally see some gameplay from the first game. I was going to say something able them not staying super faithful to original designs, but honestly I like the new Sheila a lot more than the old one! The new design is super cute! I definitely hope that they stick to improvements like Shelia or original touch - ups like Spyro rather than downgrades like Zoe. I hope they get Elora right, she is my favorite character! I can't wait to see the designs for other characters as well!

As long as this remastered version lets me see the enemies who show you their asses in HD, I'll be happy with it.

I wanna see the professor, Bianca, Elora and even the Queen next, or maybe even Nasty Gnorc himself. Those all some major players still missing from all the gameplay that's come out.

Very seldom do I ever say that a console is worth buying for only one game, but boy is Spyro the one game to do it. :3 I gotta say, I really dig the new looks that Toys For Bob has given the characters in the Spyro trilogy. Very well done. A developer who truly appreciates the classic Spyro games. That's what every remaster needs; teams who are passionate about the originals.

That's funny how at the first screenshots of the game I was like "oh no so ugly and smooth" but finally it's really pretty. Nostalgia made me thought wrong !

I'm glad there's someone out there who loves the way Sheila plays and looks as much as I do, in this remake :D People complaining about her need to stop, there's nothing wrong with the way she looks or plays. Stop being so fucking nitpicky and enjoy the game for what it is.

It's crazy! People have already complained about Tawna's new N. Sane Trilogy design for being more child-friendly, now they're complaining because the sex-appeal of another character (like Sheila in this case) has been increased!? 😂😂😂 It's really true that people are NEVER happy!!! 😂😂😂

I just love how everything is so smooth and wonderfully textured. The motion-blur is offputting, but it's not like we can do anything about it. And I AM hoping for a PC release. I hope I hope I hope~
