I would advise everyone who has the Spypoint Cell-Links to watch your video . The long format is important with both the Micro SD card and the SD card that comes with the Cell-Link . I have 10 active cell links in the woods and every camera is notched underneath for the rubberized cord . I hate to notch a new camera , but I've not had ANY problem with broken wires . Tuck the rubberized wire between the camera and tree and then place Cell-Link above camera , as close to the camera as possible to help keep squirrels from eating wires will help too .

If you have to drive three hours to get to your hunting spot, you should move. LoL

Thanks for the information! Im having an issue with my SpyPoint LTE Camera not turning on. It worked great last year and now all of a sudden it will not turn on. The battery is fully charged and I have tried everything I know to do and it simply will not turn on... Any advice?

send it back to spypoint. give them a call, their support is actually pretty good. you'll have a new camera in a week.

How do you do the long format on the sd card?

When you go to format sd card on computer , un click the quick format tab. It will do the "long" way, takes a long time compared to quick format.

Its called firmware. And NO you do not need to format the cable adapter in your computer UNLESS your trail camera DOES NOT HAVE THE OPTION TO FORMAT THE CABLE ADAPTER! Thats the only time you would use the computer to format the cable adapter. 🤦
