Our Sprinter was bought brand new back in 2007 by my Dad. We have been racing dirt bikes for my entire life and this was the perfect vehicle for us to haul the bikes and sleep comfortably. We have added a few fold down beds, a cabinet, AC unit, and cabinets, but they have been there forever. Now that I have taken the Sprinter van over for awhile, I have a few plans.
This is the start of the Sprinter conversion. Now that I have kiddos, we need more seats. We can't add a bench seat because that will take up too much room of our medium length Sprinter. Adding a 3rd man seat will at least allow me to buckle in the kids that I can take in the van.
Though we had no idea, there were holes already drilled for the front part of the console seat. Once we found them, it was all about lining up the back holes, drilling and bolting it all together.
We had a few hiccups along the way and I hope you get a good laugh out of them. We plan to be honest and showcase the good and the bad. So leave your comments, enjoy our endeavors and let us know what you would like to see next.
