Springtime Florida Swamp Fishing for Catfish and Warmouth
My son Maikel and friend Bryan join me for some small boat fishing deep in a central Florida swamp. The water is low as usual around here in late spring, and the alligators, and fish, all concentrate in these holes. Our main targets are Warmouth Bass and Butter Catfish (Yellow Bullheads). My homemade jackplate for my tiny outboard performed great - this should be our 3rd trip with it - and it lets our little 10 foot flat bottom aluminum jon boat slide over just about every log or submerged obstruction out there. Enjoy!

Nice butter cats! 👍👍
That looks like some string park of Ocklawaha.
Broke back mountain perfect for each other.
I had no clue people keep those types of catfish, not in Georgia!
