I had an early serial numbered example and it did have extraction problems. My current example is numbered in the 33,000s. So far, so good.

Excellent review! I love my SA 35, serial #17xxx. 1400 rounds of every type of ammo, perfect function, good accuracy, zero issues.

Really good review but have softer gun rags instead of that crunchy paper need to treat your fingers a little better put some lotion on those😊

I did a video of the MIM parts on my Garrison, and there are LOTS of MIM. Having said that, it’s a great pistol. I did get a chance to handle an SA-35 today, and it was beautifully built. 👍

I put a Wolf spring kit on mine……no issues…plus p 124 gr boolets….great weapon so far….of course it is possible o spend more, but the history, design, nostalgia and 1935 ….can not be bought for the price ! a little more time with it, and I will be satisfied as one can be that does not shoot daily. Thanks

Your number is in the 20,000s. Issues were in numbers under 7,000. Mine is in the 4,000s. Used to have a lot of extraction problems.

You did an awesome job on the details for this one. I wish i found your channel 3 days ago when i was making the leap to get this. Now that ive got the first 200 rounds thru it, i can say i love this more than my original Mk III. Its tight and accurate. An awesome experience for my first Springfield 1911.

I think about the time Springfield quit making their 1911 frames and slides in Brazil that the 9mm chambers got so tight. The last six Springer 1911 9mm's I built the first thing I do is run a finish reamer thru the chamber. I haven't had the problem with the 45's just the 9mm.

I 💙 my SA-35’s. I bought two with consecutive serial numbers. One stays in the box. My “shooter” has had zero malfunctions so far. I’m over 3 cases (3,000) rnds of a mix between Winchester white box and S&B FMJ’s. I also shot 100 rounds of old Federal 147gr HSTs that I rotated out of my current carry guns. Springfield fixed the extraction issues of this gun I believe. My serial numbers are in the 18XXX range.

Good video. I noticed you spent a lot of time looking at the parts for casting marks. Is there a difference in quality between MIM and casting parts? Is one superior over the other?

Forged parts are better then cast mim parts like in the original hi-power and Turkish made ones they are just weaker parts with normally cast lines on them
