I had an early serial numbered example and it did have extraction problems. My current example is numbered in the 33,000s. So far, so good.
Criminally underrated channel. Thanks for the upload.

THANK YOU !!!
Excellent review! I love my SA 35, serial #17xxx. 1400 rounds of every type of ammo, perfect function, good accuracy, zero issues.

Really good review but have softer gun rags instead of that crunchy paper need to treat your fingers a little better put some lotion on those😊
I did a video of the MIM parts on my Garrison, and there are LOTS of MIM. Having said that, it’s a great pistol. I did get a chance to handle an SA-35 today, and it was beautifully built. 👍

As you know, I love both pistols. 👨🏻🚀🇺🇸👍💥💥. Beretta Sr.
I put a Wolf spring kit on mine……no issues…plus p 124 gr boolets….great weapon so far….of course it is possible o spend more, but the history, design, nostalgia and 1935 ….can not be bought for the price ! a little more time with it, and I will be satisfied as one can be that does not shoot daily. Thanks
Your number is in the 20,000s. Issues were in numbers under 7,000. Mine is in the 4,000s. Used to have a lot of extraction problems.
You did an awesome job on the details for this one. I wish i found your channel 3 days ago when i was making the leap to get this. Now that ive got the first 200 rounds thru it, i can say i love this more than my original Mk III. Its tight and accurate. An awesome experience for my first Springfield 1911.

Thanks Mike
I think about the time Springfield quit making their 1911 frames and slides in Brazil that the 9mm chambers got so tight. The last six Springer 1911 9mm's I built the first thing I do is run a finish reamer thru the chamber. I haven't had the problem with the 45's just the 9mm.
I'm not a 1911 guy, but despite some similarities I really love the sa 35 , feels great and shoots great. At least mine does.
Thanks for the detailed view and extractor tension demo. The SA*35 is looking good after that initial run I think…
Outstanding Review!! Thank You Very Much!! Always been A Browning Hi- Power & 1911 Colt Fan!! Nobody like John Moses Browning!!
I 💙 my SA-35’s. I bought two with consecutive serial numbers. One stays in the box. My “shooter” has had zero malfunctions so far. I’m over 3 cases (3,000) rnds of a mix between Winchester white box and S&B FMJ’s. I also shot 100 rounds of old Federal 147gr HSTs that I rotated out of my current carry guns. Springfield fixed the extraction issues of this gun I believe. My serial numbers are in the 18XXX range.

I've never had a issue in 600rnds
Looks like an 18 1/2 pound recoil spring, made for shooting +P ammo.
excellent breakdown Brother

Heck Ya!!! Beretta9MMUSA Sr.
She's a beaut!!
Frames and slides are forged. Love mine. Over 1800 rounds.
My SA-35 9xxx, have not ran into issues with extraction with defensive and plinking ammo. Only complaint is the end of the tang is a bit sharp.

That is my only complaint also when you shoot a lot you start too feel the edge
Young Beretta has one and I look forward to shooting it. Thanks for the detailed breakdown Sir. Beretta9MMUSA Sr.
The concern about mim parts is unfounded I have been a machinist 50 yrs Mim parts in gas turbines jet engines with no issues
of course there are MIM parts. And with proper steel and heat treat they are not a problem.
The sa 35 that i have has always ran very good , has never jam on any ammo that i have ran through it .
I have one and i never had the safety engage while shooting it
Good video. I noticed you spent a lot of time looking at the parts for casting marks. Is there a difference in quality between MIM and casting parts? Is one superior over the other?

Forged parts are better then cast mim parts like in the original hi-power and Turkish made ones they are just weaker parts with normally cast lines on them
Made by tisas in turkey, assembled and fluffed and buffed some by springfield
You use a drift punch to take the sights out, that’s how I seen it done when somebody put XS sights on there SA35
How’s the finish holding up?

I believe you have the recoil spring plunger/rod upside down.

So okay....what are MIM parts ?

MIM = Metal Injection Molded
MIM parts are not casting....casting are not MIM.....wtf is he talking about?????
Turkish frame and slide " 80 percent" parts- finish machined by SA. Not sure if frame is billet, forged or cast -- prolly cast.

I’ve seen the 80% floating around the interwebs but I don’t think we have a 100% proof yet!?!?!??

Why do you think that ??? American made and Springfield clearly says it and also say forged , lol you are guessing cast
