Due to work I couldn’t fire my gun first couple weeks that I got it. So I started dry firing and it was digging into the web of my hand as it did to you. Carrying it was irritating my skin on my belly also. I put the gun away for a week because of work and when I came back it bothered me at all. I’ve shot it several times and still no issues. However, last week my brother shot it for the first time and it was digging into his web. Watching that happen to you and how quickly you adjusted or got used to it was a relief. Thanks for the vid. BTW. I couldn’t find the Hex Wasp and instead i am running with a green dot Swamp fox and so far so good.

I just bought the hellcat pro. I was dead set on the sig p365xl and then I felt it in my hands. The hellcat pro was just perfect for me. I have XL sized palms and slimmer fingers and it was amazing. I am a Sig fanboy and the hellcat won me over. Increased capacity. Better all around grip texture. grip felt fuller in my hand, compared to the 365xl. And praise the lord, no proprietary rail like the 365 line. I was sold.

On the beaver tail digging into your thumb joint, I noticed the same and also with my FN 509. For basically all of my shooting years I have gripped with my support hand the same as you. I put my support grip lower where instead of my middle finger supporting the trigger guard and my pointer finger wrapping around my pointer is under the trigger guard. This lowers my support thumb which in turn lowers where my right hand thumb rests and the beaver tail is more comfortable.

I have a Hellcat but it's just a regular model not optics cut because I'm not a fan of those red dots. I would much rather have a Holosun or even a RMR because I don't like not having control over the brightness. I've seen similar optics that if you need to use a flashlight or if you're in a low light area and shooting into a bright area the dot is completely washed out but I'm not sure if they're compatible with any others ... Definitely a sweet gun though and great video as always keepem coming brother!!!

I just bought one & its ALMOST the perfect CCW. My one & only complaint is that I still have to sorta extend my pinky out in order to reload or my hand gripping the gun will stop my other hand from being able to slap the mag in. Thats purely a me issue, im not a huge guy (about average) but I do have pretty large hands. I have a similar issue with G19s. Ill just have to train around it. I wouldn't mind a 16 or 17rnd Hellcat. Think G17 size but thinner & with a shorter barrel.

I use a Galco Quickslide outside the belt holster. It fits my Hellcat Pro, just a bit loose. Think old west feel. I have a One Second draw and fire from concealed carry. Get the rig. With practice, you'll become lighting fast, and get the drop on anybody, just like me.
