Go Bokke Go I'm proudly South African and a proud Springbok supporter although I've stayed in Auckland Aotearoa NZ for almost 5 years , my family and I still supportered the Springboks even though amongst a lot of Kiwis and other nationals who were trying to convert us in becoming All Blacks but we stood our ground as proud South Africans. Also a special mention to 2 special players Frans Malherbe and Jean Kleyn who I personally know when I got to know them while doing their firearm hunting licenses when I was the DPO at Cloetesville SAPS and Jean Kleyn presented me with his Stormers tracksuit top that I have since 2014. God will bless Springbok Rugby today Siya and all players. Once again Go Bokke Go !!!!!!!!!

@@glenntree5401 lol man oh man! Ive never been more wrong in my life haha…we lost mainly due to him…I would say that there were some other concerns as well. Ireland also matched our power and we’re the better team on the night solely because of the kicking factor. 8 points were left on the field. I think I don’t feel that bad because it wasn’t a knock out stage but this was a clear issue way before the RWC so I’m not sure what Rassie is going to do with it because this could cost us the World Cup in a QF, semi’s or even finals. We’re far from done though and I’m confident in my team’s abilities.

We are truely a blesses rainbow nation. I can sence the unity ans the great spirit amongst our players. It realy gives me goose bumbs when i see the size of some of our players. There is just one goal for them and that is be be the best. This is the result of years of hard work they have been preparing 4 years for this match and for this tornament. I wish our team all the best for todays match. Goooooooooooo Bokkkkkkkkkke after the game you guys can enjoy your irish coffee en biltong.

The motherland has blessed us with rain to nourish our thirst for a victory. A wet ball and ground means Boks could be challenged in catching, but sometimes others catch a poes klap. I know the boys have trained in some wet conditions, but I am not referring to time with their partners. But 7-1 split means we prepared to retain the ball and fight to hold the slippery fish. I think maybe its a curse. Our passing has been sloppy in the last two games a few ball fumbles. The speed in which we move the ball out of the ruck and the speed at which we pass at could make it tricky with a wet slippery ball.

We have so many freaks in our team. We are proud Bokke!

The Springboks are a decent team but their weaknesses were exposed by the Irish. South Africa will not beat New Zealand or Ireland. They aren't retaining the Web Ellis Trophy. Mannie Lebok and Faf de Klerk missed good opportunities

SA played rather poorly and could've easily pipped it. The final score is al that counts, although I wouldn't be making such predictions😅 Great win for Ireland.

No way O'Keefe will let South Africa win if it is close game. Kiwi refs and the Springboks are like north-south magnets Boks will need to get at least two scores clear of Ireland before the closing stages

@@boondocksaints2011 Turned out just like I said (and many others too)... this match result was Ireland winning by 5 in a low-scoring game And, whaddayouknow, Kiwi ref O'Keefe whistled two late penalties-causing-points to Ireland and against Springboks. Yet ANOTHER match where the difference in the Springboks winning or losing was a Kiwi ref

No cards or serious injurys and a free flowing game i think the ref did a good job last night. 7-1 split with no kicker cost SA the game.

This game was decided by O'Kieffe, not the players, and would have been a Boks win if Barnes or Reynaud had whistled or others - refs who looked more closely for their careers to Alain Rolland (Head of Refs) than O'Kieffe cared to (Kiwi ref on his retirement glidepath). Think we would agree any ref of this game gets accepts two things for sure - the scoreboard will finish close, and the forward-focussed gameplan from the Boks is their strategy to win. Which is why O'Keefe went out of his way to penalise Ireland twice in the opening twenty for early scrum shoves. He well knew the Boks front row would be energised and ascendant in the final twenty, when levelling things back for Ireland could be influential. Check out the replay of O'Keefe's first-twenty scrum penalties, my advice, it is physically IMPOSSIBLE there were early Ireland shoves, alone by the laws of physics and how fast sound travels versus bodies move. O'Kieffe just wanted to lock in some scrum penalty track records because he knew he could cash them in later with dodgy calls to prevent a Boks win. Problem solved for Ben's "showed balance" game review of scrums. Same as at the close. Boks have ball0-in-hand at the hot zone to win with a late score and take the game, right on the line. Yet, voila, O'Keefe "spots" (cough) either a knock-on or "a whatever" and whistles an Ireland penalty in the closing seconds... Ireland win. Watch it again, my recommend. Where the heck was that "knock-on" or "whatever"? Nobody can see it and nor could O'Keefe himself, as he was unsighted on the blindside and he could not have received an AR call given how quick his arm raised. The only conclusion is his calculation of better the Boks do not sneak things at the end, just before the final whistle. He shut the game down with a fake penalty, to ensure Ireland wins. ... which means NZ face Ireland in the quarter-final games. Which is cough-syrup puke. NZ would much, super MUCH, prefer a QF versus Ireland over the Boks. O'Kieffe and the NZRFU instinctively sense Ireland are paper-thin World Number 1s, whereas the Boks are tungsten-steel competitors.
