The English clubs are not allowed to release the players. It is part of the agreement that gives the RFU access to their players. Kind of thing where they RFU say, if we pay we want the advantage.

@@phelansa23 I might be attached to some of these youngsters like Gomezulu cause I’ve watched them since school rugby days and that kid was godly for bishop, I mean if you have a minute to kill I advise to go look for some highlights. So my thinking is if you nurture them and make them rise nicely you might end up with another Polard in 2-3 years y’a know. A shame the stormers don’t give him much time at 10 but gotta respect seniority and Mani is a very good player no matter what anyone says. He’s had his lows but when he’s switched on like against the scot in the pool stages he’s scary 😭 I mean bruh how can an opposing fly half just casually cross kick with pin point accuracy while string down your soul 😂 never even looked where the ball was going he knew

Yeah but look at the bright side, we get to give youngsters so valuable experience. If we win we have nothing to gain cause wales is way to low for us to gain anything and if we lose we don’t lose much making the sacrifice for experience worth it in the long run. It’s blessing in disguise I say 🤷‍♂️ English clubs can hold on to our players it’s still not gonna get England up there 😂 it never does

Even if I agree with you and my heart would break to see such a weak team beat us even though I find it very unlikely. You have to remember Rassie does not care about winning test matches if he can play the long run and continue the insane depth SA has which is not going to keep itself up. It’s a dilemma cause you have to give youngsters game time as soon as you can else you end up one day having to head in a World Cup with like 4 senior players you feel me? Plan is to be 5 steps ahead of the opponent before he even realizes we playing 😂 it’s risky but look what happened last test series against a much stronger welsh side at home.

It makes no sense to play a test if we can only select from a hand full of players. I don't understand the logic. If the Stormers and Bulls are not available it will leave us with many holes to fill. Tight head will also be a problem. Only Vincent Koch will be available. Back row will also be a problem only PSDT and Kwagga will be available. Mostert can move to the back row but then who will play lock and backrow reserves?

Actually I see it make sense in a way that works for us ironically. The bokker is n°1 by a very large margin 4 points which means whatever happens it’s unlikely we get dethrone and if we win wales being 10th we not getting any point anyway. SA has a lot of local talent and now you have a free test match to give some youngsters an opportunity to show what they can do and take charge. If done right which knowing Rassie he probs will be very tactical about his selection even if we lose the experience gained by upcoming players benefits us more in the long run than the little bit of points we stand to lose and can always regain once we at full power.

If Libbok can’t play neither can Willemse 😂 you forget they okay for the same club ? Wakes is quite weak but why be complexed by the fact our favorite aging players aren’t there when we have the opportunity to unleash some of the youngsters and see what they can do. I mean am I the only one who sees this as such a great thing ? Cause you realize winning a this won’t give us any points at all cause we 1st and wakes is 10th. We might lose some if we lose but done correctly the experience for coming players out weighs the loss. Even if we lose and Ireland wins and somehow goes 1st I’m pretty they are next and then all the big boys are here so just gonna have to steam roll them and take those points back. I see this as an absolute win 😂

Bosh had his chance he all he proved is he can’t handle international which doesn’t mean he’s a bad player, he’s decent but we don’t want decent experienced players because Rassie doesn’t settle for mediocrity. Instead I suspect gents like Nohamba who’s been an absolute menace or the starting fly half for the sharks apologies can’t think of the name now. Because what you want is to give some game time to internationally inexperienced fly half’s that are rather special players like Sasha Gomezulu for example although his very young to start at 10 it would be balzy. Understand we don’t stand to win anything in this game so to put older or average experienced players to win gives us exactly zero in the rankings or anything. So in this situation I say Rassie is going to shoot his shot and give the spot to some young special players because if done right even if we lose we getting a return on investment in the long run which is what Rassie is all about.

You mean the same Sharks management that has the strongest players in the worst slump ever? I think that answers your questions for you. Bosch has been a liability for years. Now at least people are starting to open their eyes. Well….. SOME people at least.

Knowing Rassie he’s going to take the opportunity to get some youngsters in for some game time. Remember the last test series against wales? Particularly the second test ? Lot of first caps and youngsters including Roos, Hendrickse and others I forget. Wales scraped through with a last minute penalty which shows the youngsters took the challenge and showed up on the day and that’s what you want in order to keep depth. Sa won the first test so on the second they played a very inexperienced team which achieves to rest your seniors and give the juniors some valuable experience which goes a long way. Worst case scenario you lose and it’s 1-1 so third test you roll up with the big boys and send send the welsh home with nothing which is what literally happen. So rather than panic we should take this as a blessing because it’s not a throw away but it’s a lesser game compared to later on so you can get the opportunity to get youngsters experience and as a coach you can build for the long term. Besides it’s just wales lmao, don’t need the full deal to get away with a W and we all know Rassie doesn’t care much for winning tests matches but rather use them to experiment 🧪
