I hope to read some more Conan this year myself. Also, I haven't progressed in the Witcher books beyond the two short story collections, but I'd like to return to the series someday, especially when I hear people like you praising it. I'm glad that Memories of Ice was a big win for you -- it's not my favorite in The Malazan Book of the Fallen, but it's probably in my top three or four. Some standouts for me from the spring include The Book That Broke The World by Mark Lawrence, Grand Conspiracy by Janny Wurts, and One Piece by Eiichiro Oda. Hearing your thoughts on The Book that Broke the World makes me sad I’ve not been back to Mark Lawrence in a while. I have Grand Conspiracy on my shelf, but I have no idea as to a reading order for all the books in that universe.

I read Guy Gavriel's Kay two Sarantine mosaics novel and thought they were fantastic. Definitely going to check out more Kay's work. I also read Dino Buzzati's The Tartar Steppe which I only learned about from your channel. I thought it was one of the more "terrifying" (from an existential perspective) books I've read.

I’ve only read Pit & the Pendulum out of these. I have definitely added Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep 🐑 to my list!

I loved The Drawing Of The Three but The Waste Lands is my favorite of The Dark Tower. The Eyes Of The Dragon is so underrated, in my opinion. The Pit and The Pendulum is my favorite Poe story!

Just started Joe Abercrombie series but Malazan is definitely on my list for sure.. recent reads I enjoyed; I who have never known men.. a haunting read.. Orchard of Skeletons, a book subscription find a fast and fun read… Sky of fire another book sub find and was surprisingly enjoyable also Silverblood Promise worth looking up :)
