Spring Works/ Evaluation On The New Horse/ We Moved The Cows To An Awesome Place!

Үй жануарлары мен аңдар

We had a great week and spring works is in full swing. Calves are hitting the ground! We evaluated the new horse “crow” and we moved the cows to some great feed. We are excited for warmer weather

Another beautiful show my friend! Not to many people put shoes on their horses around here anymore, but then we don't have all that rocky terrain. Looks like Crow has the makings of a good cow horse. We had a storm blow through here. Snowed all day yesterday and the night before that, and ended up with 10 inches of snow. More than we had all winter. Best wishes to you folks.

Honestly we need a little more snow to help us get through the year. All we got from the big storm that hit California was wind. Blew 50 miles an hour here.

So very nice out there !! Way more to my liking than south florida, seen a guy get killed in car wreck on florida turnpike and 60 miles down i-95 a car going the wrong way on the interstate at 85mph. Worst day on a ranch is still better than the big city, even in snow and on a nasty horse.

It’s weird how you just come upon things out there in the middle of nowhere. Boy that calf can move. I wonder if you have ever gotten horses from rescues? I’m not sure there are any near you. Good video

Especially milking cows, as a young teenager in the 60`s i milked the 2 house cows by hand which meant an extra 14 hours work a week, all for the princely sum of 11s 3d (56p).
