I love tea parties. I have always done them before my girls started school each year. One Mother's day my 18 and 11 year old daughter threw me an Alice in Wonderland Tea. It was so sweet and is a cherished memory. We need more tea houses.

Oh Karen what a Beautiful Garden Tea Party. I Love, Love, Love Tea parties. I like how you made your egg salad. As I have never seen eggs cooked like that.I am so thankful for all my friends but most of all my family. As my one sister has tea parties and there is 18 of us and that is all my sisters and their girls. Yes we do have a wonderful time chatting and laughing over old times. Awe Karen, I love how much care and love you put in everything you do. This brought back so many memories, My Beautiful Mother had Tea parties at least once a month and everyone absolutely loved them, she was such a classy lady. I sure do miss her. Hi Karen, I’ve hosted a number of tea parties over the years and like your idea for making egg salad sandwiches. Your table and everything looks beautiful. My friends and I are getting together to visit a friend with a luncheon on Friday, May 12, just before Mother’s Day. There will be nine of us, and I created a tablescape around my turquoise Eiffel Tower. We’re having iced tea this time since it’s spring and we want to make it a Mother’s Day/Salute to Spring event. I’ll share photos if you like.

@@gayestallings5194 I sent a photo of an upcoming tea luncheon I’m hosting with a couple other friends next Friday, May 12, for a friend who has been living in assisted living for the past seven years. She had surgery seven years ago on the vertebrae in her neck. The doctor nicked the sleeve of her spine and she was left paralyzed except for the use of her left hand. Her friends and I get together and have special tea luncheons from time to time. I sent Karen a photo of the table set up and centerpiece I’ll be using. I am willing to send you photos after we have the actual tea if you’d like. Is there an email address I can send them to?

Better high tea than the fanciest hotel provide. Absolutely, beautiful…must have been so much fun to create.

Oh I was so excited to come to your tea party today Karen. After dinner, I quick cleaned the table, poured myself a cup of tea, along with a brownie I made yesterday, got in my favorite chair, and knew I was in for a fabulous time! Everything was exquisite! The decor, flowers, the patio, invitations, tea sandwiches, treats all so beautiful! And you my dear friend looked so pretty in your dress! I liked the bread with the fig and mint, different and I think a delight with tea.

Oh this brought back memories. I am now in my 70s... but my friends and I were all about the tea parties when we were in our 40s and 50s . It was always so fun to see who did what theme or tablescape. The food was always incredible , as we had some wonderful cooks in the group. The beautiful cups and sauces, the flowers, the little tea sandwiches... everything was so special. So happy to see you doing this for your special friends. I have no doubt they loved it and noticed every little detail. Well done!

I am planning a very small tea party for this coming Saturday as my husband and I watch the Coronation of King Charles. I will be visiting our favorite bakery to purchase some sweet treats for us to enjoy along with our tea!! For Mother's Day, I made a reservation at Miss Molly's Tea Room in Medina!! I am so excited for this to happen. Both my daughters will be her that weekend along with my sister, my mother who is 87 and some special friends who will be joining us that day for brunch!! This is Karen, not Pete. DELIGHTFUL! I made myself a cup of tea and joined you. It was perfection. Target and Walmart have macarons in the frozen food section. Not the extensive variety you had though. Love your nail color. Archie is adorable as ever. Happy Spring!
