I feel like Scentsy could have easily appeased the masses if they had of put strawberry lemon cake as a new release and sugar blossom as the march sotm.

That’s a great point - Sugar Blossom would have made a lovely SOTM for March, and Strawberry Lemon Cake would have made us happy in the catalog!

I'm with you on purchasing intentionally. I'm to the point where if I get a whole kit and I can tell on cold sniff that I'm not going to enjoy the cologne type ones, I immediately rehome them. That feels better than melting them for 15 minutes and realizing my family can't handle it and tossing fresh wax still full of life.

Soakin' Rays... Robyn, stop smelling it! 🤣😂 The pain on your face tho! Peace Lily surprised me too, it was so strong on warm! I normally do 4 cubes in my room but had to go down to 2 with this one and even that was a bit too much. Yes, Scentsy PLEASE give us an authentic lake scent! Enough with the cologne already 🙄 Your warm reviews on these are very much what I got as well. No real standout for me but I'd say I enjoyed Mountain Sunset the most out of the bunch. Thanks so much! ❤

I was yelling the same while watching lol I’m not sure any of these are for me except maybe Banana Leaf & Mango Matcha. I’m watching as many reviews as I can before deciding.

Robyn you are hilarious… please tell me what you really think about Sugar Blossom 😂I could not agree more…. I was so happy about coconut palm coming in bbmb because I add it to coconuts for coconut to cut back the sharpness of the floral component…. It definitely makes cfc more tolerable and creamer… thank you for your reviews

Oooo Coconut Palm will be a great summer mixer for so many things! I stocked up on that one! I might even add some to Mountain Sunset.

I agree with you about Scentsy's take on woods and bergamot. I love the citrus scent of bergamot, but I no longer try the Scentsy bars with bergamot because they always smell like men's cologne. I like men's cologne, but I don't want my entire room to smell like a well-groomed man.

I couldn’t agree more! I actually like the scent of cologne - when it’s used as a cologne on somebody! Not for my house to smell like lol! Bergamot can be such a lovely citrus note, but Scentsy’s tends to be cologne almost always.

Thank you for such reviews on the new bars. I’m sad to hear about the “bakery” scent. Lol. Reading the notes I couldn’t understand why it was in that category.

Yes to your 2023 theme, “Buy only what you love”!! After organizing my stash recently, I came to the same realization with a touch of alarm. I have bars that I ‘like’ in excessive numbers from flash sales, and bars that I totally love in far less. I want to happily warm through what I have, but only repurchase what I love. I’ve always enjoyed trying everything new just for fun, but for a bit I need to scale back. Instead of all 10, I’m only going to purchase the bars I strong feel I would really like, and same with LTO’s and club bars for now. Thanks so much for this review, it was super helpful! I was up for trying Soakin Rays until I heard Tiare Flower - nope nope no no no.

I am In Love with Soakin’ Rays. I KNEW you would not be able to do that. 💔 ButI get it, ….I get headaches from the linen/laundry scents the same way.

The first one I tried was Peace Lily and it seemed strong so I only did one cube in my living room and it was way to strong for me and I took it out after 8 hours. Florals are hit or miss for me and I think it just wasn’t my favorite. I think someone who loves green & floral scents would be very happy with this bar. I’m looking forward to trying the fruity scents.

I agree, it’s a nicely done bar that will make many folks happy. Good performer. Just not one I need more of either - fruity is more my speed too!

Mango Matcha is my #1 from the new releases. I’ve been loving the elevated depth that a tea note gives, especially when paired with a fruit.

Love Banana Leaf and Bamboo. I got a bar in a Whiff Box. Very fresh.

Great reviews Robyn. I tried all ten. I never seem to like any masculine cologne scents that Scentsy does. I was hoping that Banana Leaf & Bamboo would be like Starburst Bamboo (which I sadly did not get to club) but it isn't. Unless it gets better with curing longer. Peace Lily Be With You, Mango Matcha and Tropic Nectar were okay so I may buy another bar or two. Actually, Soakin' Rays is my favorite of the whole bunch. I very much agree with you, I am trying to only club or stash only scents that I love and work well for me and my home.

I love love Lush Gardenia. I stocked up on it. I might like the Soakin Rays.

Hi Robyn..💕 Great run through of the scents after warming. I am so glad you gave your thoughts on soak n rays as many of us suffer debilitating effects from certain scents...thank you for your honesty..💕 I think the only ones we will pick up are Mountain Sunset, Raspberry Tea, Tropic Nectar and possibly Peace Lily. Looking forward to the sotm and trying the easter for the bedrooms and bathrooms. Thank you for sharing. Happy Family Day..💜

Thank you Robyn. We have also changed gears and only buy what we love. I stopped buying scents to test, there are so many doing that. I have been disappointed more than less from Scentsy’s new bars. Mountain Sunset is the only one I liked. Tropic Nectar will be lovely for a hot summer day. Why did they put Pink Lemon Water in the catalog, it was a bomb SOTM. Again, no bakery, more cologne scents. They could of put a past loved scent in the catalog like Stroopwaffle.

I really hope they pull out a few wild cards this fall like they did for spring by bringing back stuff from prior years not just the previous year. Stroopwaffel would be a great one to throw back into the catalog! I’d rather they bring back old well loved bakery scents than give us new ones if the new ones are going to be fakery instead of bakery - Sugar Blossom is fakery lol!

Hello, I’m new to your channel. Love your scent description you are on point. I have noticed that this new team that is running the Company they’re not doing too well with fragrances. I miss Orville and Heidi do you know when they’re coming back? Orville and Heidi knew how to create fragrances and all their fragrance would smell just like the description. Since they left temporarily, I really haven’t been purchasing Scentsy like I used to, i’ve noticed the fragrance declining. I hope to see them soon!❤️

Thanks for the heads up on Soakin' Rays. I get headaches from heady scents. Not much appeals to me in the new scents. Going to stick with the scents in my club that I know I enjoy and can handle.

Soakin rays is a strange one. I was hopefully for it with the orange flower but when warming was a bit vinger smelling im not sure if was the bar 🤔 but it dont smell how the description is!

My favorite part of the new catalog is blue agave and melon. I love this scent. It didn’t make it through one of my Scentsy Club cuts and I’ve been sad since I cut it 😂

I got a few samples to try and RHT for me was very much like Berry Blessed. I did it in my HUGE open layout with high ceilings and it boomed for 5-6 hrs 😮 But I have BB in my club so 😂 The Banana Leaf and Bamboo smelled so much better on warm for me. “And this ain’t bakery!” 😂😂😂😂 I sure hope Scentsy is hearing all this backlash!

I’d never have thought to compare RHT and BB, but they do both have that tartness - raspberry must be one of the berries in BB. BB is a better performer for me, but I’m impressed you got boomer performance from RHT for awhile! I’m eager to play around with that one a bit more.

Thank you for your reviews! I will definitely avoid the “headache in a bar” as my sniffer is also sensitive. I was really hoping Lake My Day would be a win. I grew up spending summers on Lake Erie (US side). Since you warm vendor wax any suggestions? Otherwise I’ll cross my fingers for the Father’s Day collection.

You know, “fresh” type scents aren’t usually my fave, and so I don’t typically order them from vendor wax brands! I can’t think of any lake vendor scents that I’ve seen - maybe someone else can chime in!

Thanks for the excellent review! I’m beginning to wonder what Scentsy has against bakery. 🤔. Maybe they will surprise us in fall/winter with some (legit) new bakery scents.

Ok why are they doing identical type bars like mountain sunset and coastal sunset? 😠that’s annoying when Atlantic air and sand swept were so fresh clean air! 😩 I do actually love banana leaf and bamboo

Tropic Nectar is quite different from Go Go Mango to me - much fruit punchier and sweeter, no floral backdrop. Peace Lily is much greener on warm than Down the Aisle but I do think if you like one you’d likely like the other.

Is peace lily similar to ivy and water lily ?

Bear with me here but my prediction/ conspiracy theory is that they will continue to take bakery scents out of the catalogs and then come out w bakery scents as sotm ‘s and in lto’s and collections vs adding more to the catalogs for the sole purpose of ppl clubbing them. 🤑

Not a fan of cologne smells and the cigarette smoke smelling melts don't know who is making this scents lately

That note that some folks get cigarette from does seem to be in a few things this season! Hopefully they’ll realize it hits many folks noses as cigarette smoke and change things up!
