this is 1 of the koolest mods ever. I love magnets and have hundreds all over my shop. literally I will scavenge the magnets out of everything. especially from broken chainsaws, trimmers, blowers. stihl equipment uses the neodymium magnets in there flywheels, you just have to take a hacksaw and cut them out off the aluminum case. there small and strong

Magnets used here are 30 x 10 x 3 mm N52 ones. Please let us know if you worked with other ones.

Genius. I have the Mossy Oak multitool which is spring loaded. I find the quality on par with Leatherman and Victorinox and the tools better thought than on my Surge and Spirit X. Crazy when you consider it only costed me $20

My Wave+ barely separates... with magnets, the same size neo. Is there a method to loosening the pliers? Would be great if they separated as far as yours do!

Hi. I live in the U.S. and received my magnets yesterday! Couldn’t wait to put them on! I put them on my wave and i have 2 Surge’s also and just put them on the pair in my truck- they are my older pair that i carried for about 10 yrs- they don’t have the replaceable cutter’s and my new one does. I tried putting the magnets on my Titanium charge but they are not working like the others- any advice or input would be appreciated. Thank you for this and all your video’s- keep up the great work. So the magnets are working on all but titanium one? The frame were I put the magnets in the video is stainless steel on all models including TTi. And yes the scales on that one are from a titanium aloy that normally is paramagnetic ( les magnetic properties) but the magnet should be on the frame not on the scales.

@@rayjrdibenedetto867 Hi, just seen your answers. Yes my blades attract the magnet but is not bother me. Also I do not keep the magnets on my tool all the time but I put them on only when need it

Are your handles loose without the magnets? Maybe that's why mines not working.
