So sorry to hear of your loss I too have had the unfortunate experience of kitties passing and the grief and pain is a journey as a pets love is unconditional .. I now have two six month babies who needed a mommy and I too needed them to once again open that special place in the heart that holds so much love for sweet furbabies! Prayers for peace and comfort during this difficult time and I hope when you feel ready there is a special one waiting for you🥰

Oh no, that must have been absolutely awful, especially as you’ve already experienced the worst situation any animal parent can go through with Lynx! I’ve got a huge soft spot for Lumi, having had a Bengal myself, so I’m delighted to hear she is home safely xx

This happened all the time with my old cat Charlie. He was very friendly, very social, everyone loved him, but he had a habit of hopping in the car with people. Most of the time he would hop in with my dad and go pick my sister and I up from school, but every once in a while he’d go for lunch with a work crew or get locked in the living quarters of my mom’s horse trailer. It gave us mini heart attacks too 🥰

Just back from a trip to Scotland! It was beyond amazing and took our breath away. Rented a suv took the nieces and the dogs and drove to Oban. We ventured to the Isle of Mull and travelled to Loch Ness and Culloden and really want to explore again. Thank you for the inspiration x

Oh Lydia, I love that you have chickens. They always make me smile when I see them. So adorable. Once when my cat Pippen snuck outside (he was an indoor cat) I was frantic. We didn't even notice for a while, then when we were going to bed, we started looking for him. My husband, Jim, said he might have snuck out while I had the doors open to and in the garage. The both of us got flashlights and started to look around the neighborhood calling for Pippen. We were frantic because we have Fishercats, coyotes, large owls and eagles/hawks around here. (Boston suburb) After a few hours we tearfully went to bed. But I couldn't sleep. I got up again and went outside and started looking for him all over the neighborhood and our yard again. I was about to call it quits when out from under a bush, there comes Pippen looking like everything was fine. I was so happy. I scooped him up and brought him into the house and then could happily fall asleep. Pippen had a little adventure at our expense. ;-)

I just read the video title on Instagram and rushed over here for the Lumi part. My heart skipped not one but two beats. My first thought was that that would kill Lydia but the moment I saw her intro I was so happy……we love Lumi ❤

Lydia, Salad Master is a great set of saucepans. They work on an induction hob. They are stainless steel and a milky coffee is gorgeous heated in the pan. Whereas before, I got a tin kinda taste from other saucepans.

I live world's away from you Lydia (well, the North of the UK in a housing estate😂) but my life is a world away from yours. I watched your previous video and I'm still watching this one, but I have to say that I love that you're looking for more natural foods! I have to say though (as someone with some food restrictions) that the more you restrict what you eat, the harder it will get to eat out. I started the process of "eating clean(ish)" and it became REALLY hard to go to a restaurant because my body wouldn't tolerate processed food . Nowadays I have a hard time because of it, since my tolerance to food that isn't homemade is low. When I travel, for instance, I have to be very careful with my meals, they have to be planned beforehand and that kind sucks since there's not much room for a spontaneous decision. I'm currently looking for balance, I allow myself to eat processed food but I try to avoid it and I eat healthy food every day (I eat lots of vegetables and fruits). I just felt the urge to share this with you, Lydia, because I know the feeling of trying to change and realizing that there's processed food everywhere - like the tea you mentioned - and because in the last video, you said something about chemicals. I personally believe that it is important to find balance in life since not every chemical is bad for us, sometimes they can actually help (i.e. table salt with iodine). I know that this is a personal story, but I just wanted to share it here. I hope you can find the best path for you and that this brings you joy. Love ❤

Regarding your scatter cushions. You could have one type of colour/fabric on one side and a different one on the other on each cushion. It can make such a difference to the vibe of the room. Not sure if you can get it over there but the Australian Brand ‘No Pong’ is amazing. Doesn’t stop sweating but absolutely the best at keeping you smelling as fresh as a daisy. My favourites are the original as well as the vegan flower power.

You have so many lovely ones over there just in the london area that I have enjoyed multiple times, so I thought that was maybe something you might enjoy? I think the national gallery could be a good place to start, maybe? And maybe consider one of their guided tours - it could be that it could be one of the many new things things you learn about this year 😊 sorry to have gone on, but I just really like art (my personal preferred styles are impressionism, expressionism and surrealism). I have a friend who wants to do this but the collar she puts on her cat is designed to break away for safety in case she gets caught on something like a branch outside so she doesn’t choke. The tag would be left behind but that would be an off chance. But AirTags only work off pinging other wifi or other internet signals. She’s in the country so that might nit work there.
