A tip for your outdoor faux plants. I rotate the flowers on my son’s grave and the best thing I’ve found is spray the flowers with polyacrylic. You would be surprised how well it protects them and keeps them more waterproof and with less fading.

The flowers pop beautifully against the black door and the mats finish it off perfectly! Love the furniture!

You did an incredible job on the hanging baskets. They are so wispy and organic looking. But my favorite is the beautiful door basket with the over sized poppies. That pop of color looks amazing on the black door. And , although the new chairs are nice, I can't imagine replacing perfectly good chairs for a little wear. But then, I am from a different generation. We reused, repurposed, repainted and made do.... and were content.

I love the outdoor rug, and how the pea gravel matches the color of the doormat. Sometimes it's the little things. Good job on creating your own fire bowl for less. I would love a water feature in my space. The sound of water is so relaxing to me.

The hanging baskets are beautiful but i prefer real. I like humming birds and butterflies!

Hi Jessica! I love how this turned out! The DIY looks beautiful.....better than the pic of the "high end" version! The chairs look great and I love all the baskets and florals. I have a few of the Patina Farm decor books and I too love their style! He's an architect and she's a decorator/designer so yeah, they pretty much have it together! I actually modeled my breakfast nook after the one that they had when they lived in California (I know they moved recently).... it is on the cover of one of their books. I think their California home sold even before it was even on the market! It was such a beautiful home.

Your front porch turned out really, really pretty. I live in a condominium community and we cannot have artificial flowers. I'm sort of jealous. I wish that we could. You think you need a little coffee table to be able to put a drink on unless it would impede the walkway and I don't know exactly but everything turned out beautiful. Thanks for the tip of looking for on sale rugs at Walmart at the end of the season. That rug you of is beautiful. I love it

@@d.dorough I think a lot of condos just like to impose rules to impose rules. I have clients/friends that this happens to them all the time. And when you don't follow, they fine you. I would think artificial would look better all the time vs. real florals and who can tell the difference?
