I love to make strawberry cake with real strawberries. So yummy. If you can find freeze dried strawberries it makes it so easy and tasty!

Thank for sharing you new baby duck. My son always loved ducks. He had several. He said ducks have a personality. His wife still has his ducks. Every now and then we visit her and I love hearing the ducks. Those are lilie's. He loved lilies also. He was a very special person. Your kitchen looks so pretty for Easter. I love the pink pitcher. It's beautiful. Your bunny in the basket is so adorable. The bunny table runner is so pretty. 💗🐇🐰💗

Darlene, I love it when you talk about your son. I have no doubt that he would have been someone I would have loved to have called my friend. I think it’s wonderful that his wife still has ducks! So special and what a wonderful reminder of him!

Your decor is very cute & yes the flowers are Lillie’s but please take out the pollen stem that’s in the center of the lilies because when ever !they fall out it will stain the area never comes off your clothes or anything, I’m a retired florist for over 40 years.

Very cute styling. But I was laughing when you said people who don't trim their candle wick drive you crazy...But when I saw the inside of your jar... That's what drives me crazy.. haha I have to take a sharp kitchen knife and trim off the excess wax climbing the inside walls of the glass jar. It looks so much cleaner and burns better. Although I do spring in blues and yellows... your pink touches look so sweet. The TJ Max vase is stunning! And... I would keep your grandmothers butter churn out all year. Its such a beautiful family piece and adds such charm.

Oh my goodness, I didn’t even think to try that with that wax!!! How do you keep a straight edge on it?! I’m going to try that! It does drive me crazy too, but I never knew how to fix it! Haha…. We always have an egg custard pie and a coconut cream pie for Easter as well as carrot cake. I think everything looks just beautiful! I love the empty tomb. Where did you find it? I think the baby duck is precious...now that's Spring and Easter! I also love "Because He Lives." I've been singing that for years. It's perfect for Easter too. If I sing a solo on Easter (I haven't decided yet...been asked to sing but haven't decided) it will be "Then Came the Morning" by Guy Penrod. It's hard to sing and two of my friends in the choir with me used to sing it as a trio but they're gone...moved away and it's not really written to be a solo. We'll see. I enjoyed seeing your decor so much today. It's always so pretty and so well thought out and arranged!☘🐇

Hi Kathleen!!! I have never had egg custard pie, but now I want to try it! I found the empty tomb at Hobby Lobby and it was very inexpensive! I haven’t been able to sing in church in several years because we go to a much bigger church now… I miss it so much!!! I always loved to sing Ten Thousand Angels Cried on Easter. Such a beautiful song, but Because He Lives is definitely a favorite!!! You should definitely sing as long as you are able to ❤️❤️❤️
