Dude was in prime Bigfoot habitat! Beautiful scenery though. And I hope the one dog is doing better. I love my dogs more than I like people and when they get sick or it’s their time to pass on it tears me up!

Excellent vid!!! The throne shot might be in the category of TMI! But unique. I totally agree with your dog philosophy. When I get a dog I assume a short life and do my best to give them all I got to enjoy their time on this rock. One of many questions I will ask the BIG DUDE as to lousy design. They crawl into our hearts and are taken away. They are so susceptible to cancer. Thanks for sharing the video.

Hahaha yeah I wasn't sure how people would respond to that but I thought it would be funny. Having a dog is one of the greatest things ever, but it makes their loss so much more difficult. I wish they were with us longer like you said, but I definitely want to make sure that they have the best life they can while here.

On my way out of that area I saw you in that first spot in the video. I stopped and wanted to say what’s up but I didn’t want to upset you or your dogs. I was around that area again this weekend and not sure if you left a coffee cup behind. If so I have it if you want it back. But I just wanted to say thank you for the great video because you and conquest overland got me into roof top tent camping and couldn’t be happier. Hope to see you on the trails someday.

Have you come up with a way to create blackout curtains for each window in the Mammoth? Since the construction is aluminum, I take it magnets won’t work. We’re getting our trailer here in the next 3 months so we’re trying to come up with ideas. Would love if there was a way we could chat personally.

Question regarding the trailer - where do you store your utensils, food and goods in general for cooking… it doesn’t seem it has much space in the galley. What's your plan of attack when its raining and you need to open the kitchen? Does rain flow down at the hinge for the galley door? I was thinking a 270 awning but it would sit too low.

They have a really good gutter system when the door is open that keeps the water from leaking in to the kitchen area. That said, the stove portion is not covered but they are working a solution for that

Nope! You’d have to have a specific receiver to take it which is extraordinarily unlikely

Great vid man. The second site is in one of my regular hangout areas being relatively close to me. You have any issues hauling that trailer up and down that grade to that site? First time up there in my 4runner I was surprised of having to hit it low and slow due to its steepness.

Thanks man! Yeah that second spot is awesome! And it depends on who’s asking. For you, no. I just dropped it in to 1st and kept the rpm’s above 3k. If my wife asked me, I’d say it was impossible and I need a supercharger and a regear

@OffTheGrind does the Mammoth Trailer have any shocks or springs on the axle-less Timbren 3500 HD setup? I ask because I've seen the Timbren 3500 HD's setup a few different ways and watching video from Mammoth's page they look a little bouncy when coming off rocks or small drops. Does it have any articulation/wheel travel? Thanks and I love the overall design of the trailer!

They do not. They are essentially bump stops so you’re right, it gets a little bouncy. Not a huge deal to be honest. The only that has created is I didn’t pack the fridge appropriately and it cracked all my eggs lol! Other than that I haven’t had any issues

Yeah for sure! There’s definitely better suspension out there for trailers, but none are quite as good as far as clearance is concern. A lot more to hang up on those and I think that was the primary goal here

@@OFFTHEGRIND yeah that's definitely a good point! They now offer a 2" lift that comes with 33" tires but has the capability to run 35" tires and that's awesome and would add even more! I really like the Escapod Topo2 as well for a few features it has but the overall design and interior space on the Mammoth is really nice.

How is it sleeping with two dogs in the trailer? I have two 60lb dogs that I plan on taking with me most of the trips. Thanks.

Mine are both 80 lbs and there is more than enough room for the three of us. There is plenty of space in the trailer!
