I think Saken deserves more time but Targamas is just not LEC level and has never been. People think he is good because he won LEC once but that was a very weak split overall and at this point I think everybody understands that a monkey could probably win LEC with Caps as his midlaner.

Aiming to beat G2 is a lame goal. Your aim should be to become the split champion then you might beat G2. If you aim to beat G2 you might reach quarter finals, think bigger guys.

in theory beating g2 = winning the split, but also any team would be considered lofty goals if they said "our goal is to win the split!" well how can you win the split without having ever even beaten g2? its the same as if g2 goes "our goal this year is to win worlds" when this current roster has barely won a series internationally, instead they keep their goals humble and realistic. Beating g2 in LEC can only lead to winning a split, just like g2 winning series internationally can only lead to them going on a deep worlds run.

I get your point but honestly speaking winning a BO5 against G2 is might be bigger achievement then winning LEC title. Honestly speaking and taking everything into consideration it's way easier to win LEC and avoiding G2, Winning against G2 is the main goal because after that you're almost guaranteed to win the title anyways.
