My favorite quads play is from a trips look like Coach Singleton used for his first play. We'll run our #3 on the seam, #2 on a hitch, #1 on a dig and our RB on a wheel. Backside we run a post vs 2 high and a fade vs 1 high.

Coach, That sounds like a great play. Who or what is your quarterback reading? How successful as that play been to you?

The dig is the guy we're trying to hit. As long as the #3 runs the seam fast the dig will be open. We've been very successful with this play. It goes to the dig 90% of the time, and its been a go to on 2nd or 3rd and long. The seam will get it occasionally, and the hitch gets it as a check down occasionally as well.

Coach, I love when we are able to hit 10 yard digs. It really kills the defense and opens them up to the run.

27:00 that qb sweep RPO makes me think of it as a sprint-out inverted y-stick bubble play. Love it! Oh, and you did pronounce my name right.

Coach Claybaker, I'm glad a pronounced your name right. I'm horrible at pronunciations. That's why I teach math and not English. That QB sweep is nasty, and it is something I'm going to install in the Spring.

Coach, if I was told that all I had to do to get that QB sweep RPO was to sit on the ground near thousands of fire ants, I'd be slathering on the honey before they were done talking. A must have if you have an athlete at QB. Thanks for the free clinic and linking me to Coach Slade! Much appreciated!

Coach Claybaker, You don't even need a super athletic quarterback. He only has to be fast enough to make the defense honor him. This could also be a little 'Wildcat' package from your best running back or wide receiver. Most kids can throw the ball five yards, so you don't have to worry about arm strength.

Coach Clarke, Thanks for taking time out of your day to watch my video and leave a comment. It means a lot to me. Add Y-Sail to the list and those are it. We have tags to those plays, but I don't want to run too many drop back concepts. I believe kids should master a few.

do you cheat up the running back in the y stick concept? and what is the progression? is there a problem with the timing of the v cut and the stick?

Coach BBq, I can't speak for Coach Singleton, but I don't cheat the running back when I run the Y-Stick concept. Coach Singleton can tell you more about the timing of the V cut. I'll get in touch with him and let you know.

Come on guys you can’t be serious. You were drawing concepts up to poor aligned defenses. Also you never compensated for what or how a defense would react. Nor did you ever talk about what coverage the defense would be in 👎🏿👎🏿👎🏿
