In some places you apply the paint 6 times in others 3 or 4, so DFT there will be a difference of about 100qm after each coat applied.

The lack of correct RPE has been mention as well as the questionable technique. The guard on the airless tip was missing in action, and there was no stripe coat as far as I could see, on the and around the pad eyes for example. The guy spraying may not have been made aware of the dangers of inhalation of paint particulates and solvents. His company should hang their heads in shame at the way he is being made to operate.

Obviously his company has not had or performed any training, knows or has heard of OSHA, PPE, safety or health and welfare. Besides all of the importance of this not to make mention of no wet film thickness gage to know how many mils he was putting on. Maybe there wasn't a spec`d mil requirement but sure there should be a proper PPE requirement without a doubt. not taking away his workmanship away but will not be around long if he continues in this fashion.

Doug I think that's bollocks what u wrote down yes he doesn't have any ppe but why would he need a wet film gauge just looking at it hes applying more the 150 microns wet. I think he has the skill set no need to busn him down to the ground just because he hasn't a mask .

thats not a good practice .dust mask is the one used for spray painting.dustmask means for dust protection only.it cannot support the vapor of a paint.the company of this guy need more trainings to put their employees safe.
