I would imaine its Not so kuch worried about the neighbors as the cops... If the cops happen to be in the area - or even if that one busy body neighbor calls the cops amd they show up, they can't do anything if they don't see you actually driving or whatever... Also, speaking from experience, d you're driving around, loud and dangerous for a minute or so, most neighbors don't care... it's when you do it over and over and over and over for a long period of time that starts to get on their / our nerves. ❤❤❤❤❤

@@acatnamedmike8353the clear coat will fill in any imperfections, clear coat is what gives a cars pint job the even reflection and contour, 3 coats of clear and a good polish will makes any full coverage paint job look good

I had a Datsun 240z that i just finished restoring and I had a mural painted on the hood. I took it to a party and chick I had a crush on sat on the fender and laid back on the hood and it caved in. It took everything I had to hold back from loosing it and she was apologizing like crazy and everyone who seen it was like holy f**k. I popped the hood and hit it with my hand from the back side and it popped right out and you could not even tell it happened but she avoided me for the rest of the night. Years later I think the car saved me for the right woman and her and I wound up rolling it but she still married me and we have been together for more than 35 years now. I sure miss that car though.

I had my charger painted by Earl Sheib in the winter of 1987. back then it was $99.95. It was winter in the northeast and they were running a special. got the car painted for 50 bucks! Hemi Orange! I was so happy!

I had that done many years back. The job was actually great at the time. Only cause, I sanded down my ride myself. Maco just did the paint work. Came out straight and lasted for years. Right to the point where I sold my ride. ✌️

There’s a local family owned body shop here in Riverside California called Economy Paint, they will still paint a car starting at $500-$600. Not their best work but it’s decent and better than rattle cans lol.

The application of the bedliner turbo can to the interior was absolutely brutal. Loved every second of it!

I did this months ago for basecoat and I loved these cans did a 1946 international short box truck it is sweet

I know a similar story to the one about the hood. Only this is about a british kit car called a scamp. Those were based on the original mini and some early ones had a plywood hood...

Anybody says you can't spray paint a car and get a decent finish is full of crap I painted a 1939 Ford pickup truck hot rod 8 years ago with Rust-Oleum black spray paint keep in mind it never has been in the garage it only sits outside in the hot California Desert Sun and still looks damn good

I had that same Camaro. I remember dumping it to the floor and it just gets louder but not any faster. Lol

I refer to them(mine) 50/50. 50mph and 50foot

@CaseysCustoms just 4 bolts inside the column 2 are easy to access the 2 lower ones are a b! Lock tite the top 2 and you'll be fine lol

Throw a couple more coats then wet sand and throw some gloss clear on it the wet sand and buff and it wouldn’t be a half bad cheap paint job. How long it’ll last is another question entirely.
