True. I called Kärcher in Germany and they said this part is made so that if the container is overfilling it swims and it closes the opening to the motor. Therefore round side has to be towards the motor side.

Hi, can you plz tell me that would that be good for vacuuming wet mess like broken egg or spaghettfi etc.

Hi Softhearted, I never tried, only used it for the car upholstery. I do think it should work, if anyone knows please comment and help with a response :).

I consider it to be as loud as a normal vacuum .Personally the sound did not bother me. Maybe you can make an opinion if you watch the video when we used it on our cars.
