Just now spotting, thought it was my period but I am a week early. Hopefully it's just hormones spotting it'll be gone in a few days. I'm a virgin, don't take any of those medications and I'm not in any pain. Hoping for just a hormone spotting. I'm 29 years old. Trying to calm myself down EDIT: turns out it was my period lol

Yup, I am the 5% that spots around ovulation. Didn't know it was a thing until I was well into my 30s. Doctors didn't explain it, but told me the pill would resolve it. I regret that decision because my tubes were already tied and the pill should not be a bandaid. I wish the OBs would have given the knowledge not the prescription.

I'm spotting however it started a day after my ovulation and google says its Ovulation Bleeding. First time I knew and experienced it as well, I'm 31. I wished its implantation bleeding however too early, definitely an ovulation bleeding.

@@worldjourneyzz7855 mine goes away a fews days after (normally there's a few clots in there, that is causing it for me, so if I can remove the clots it speeds up the process).

I used Diane pills for a year and on my 13th new pack I took 4 pills when I suddenly remembered that it is my 13th month then I stopped because was thinking that I don’t need to take a pill anymore so I wanted to stop completely and then I started bleeding in day 4 after I stopped taking the pill. It is only one week since I had a period. It took 5 days heavy bleeding. After 5 days of bleeding I got a UTI so I went to the doctor and doctor was giving me antibiotics for 5 days so my UTI has gone away but I had a thick reddish discharge when I went to bathroom. I've never had spotting before when I did firtility treatments, but I am spotting after taking pills that are supposed to help me ovulate. Last time I went to the firtility doctor they gave me clomed and it took a few tries and one miscarriage, but we did have a baby. This time, 4 years later, we're trying again with a firtility doctor and she's different then the other ones we went to, she gave me something she said is like clomed but not going to hurt the lining like clomed did which cause a miscarriage the first time we tried. I like that it doesn't hurt the lining, but I don't know how good this other type of pills are ether. I felt they where weak and not working cause I didn't get much ovulation symptoms like I did with clomed, and now I'm spotting. I hope that's actually ovulation happening. :/ and this video made me worry about the other reasons that aren't good things. I better not being going through early menopause at age 33.

I missed your period for April, May, June, and July, and i didn't take any medication during that time. But I kept feeling period-like pain until August Then, I started spotting and were prescribed levonorgestrel and ethinyl estradiol tablets, which initially stopped the spotting but it started again. < meaning I spotted literally throughout august till the very month September Now, I been asked to start taking Duphaston tablets, and I am experiencing cramps .

wtf… I’m still young and now I’m scared- AAAA and it’s like the middle of the night.. so uhm I put on a pad and uhh.. im going to bed soon if it’s a lot more in the morning I’ll tell my parents but my ovulation cycle is soon, and a little other things I’d keep to myself.. honestly I hate being scared at such a young age with periods & stuff, no pain of anything tho but I did go on this 4mile hike to a beach…, and it’s not like spotting to much on the outside it’s more on the inside but I’ll see tysm. I’m 47 years old. I had my period on 12/20/23 & it wasn’t heavy like usual, it just spotted a little. Then it stopped a little on 12/25/23 but still spotted brown. So looks like It never completely stopped. Then on 1/7/23, the period begin again but not heavy. When I whip sometimes I see bright red & other times it’s dark red. Is it due to my age or what’s going on? I have never experienced this in my whole life. Please help.

I’m going thru that right now periods have been light but after it went off four days later I started spotting and now it’s been about 10 days. I only see it when I wipe and I’m not in any pain. But it goes from brown to red to brown to red. I’m 48

My stopped a few a couple days after my post here. Then my period in February is normal now.

I’ve had spotting before, but it only happened when i was young who had loss 30kg on an unhealthy caloric deficit. Whilst i was in the airport, in bright blue jean shorts and i freaked out because i had finished my period a week beforehand.

@@user-qt3hv5sf7v Yeah, my period went back to normal after i stopped dieting. Mind you I gained a lot of weight because i was scared that it would happen again. Once i started eating normal it cleared up in about 2-3 weeks. But I recommend doctors advice as everyone’s bodies is different.

It’s funny… I never had bleeding on emergency contraceptives. Until recently. I didn’t know it was a common side effect(I never read the box) But thanks for bringing it up!

Finally someone said it can be low progesterone levels as I thought. My gynecologist said it is normal. I spot 4-5 days prior. Next question is, Crystal, does it mean I am less fertile maybe?

Hey Tina! That's a great question. Low progesterone levels can make maintaining a pregnancy in the first trimester more difficult. So while it doesn't mean you are less fertile, it does mean it can make things more difficult if trying to keep a pregnancy going. Thankfully there's a lot you can do to support progesterone levels (less stress, magnesium/B6 supplements, vitamin C rich foods, prioritizing self care, sleep and regular exercise!).

I had a misscarage last year but I have 3 kids and the youngest is 16. So not sure how I got pregnant. But thank you for sharing. Helps to understand it can be very normal.

This is my second month that I started spotting 6 days before my period. I don’t take birth control, or have IUD and I’m 45. So I think I’m left with maybe cervical cancer because I am getting a lot of pain off and on. If that’s the case I’m ok with it. I’m not the type of person that wants to live a long life nor forever but if someone is or was in my Simlar situation. I may go to the Dr but I will not take meds, I barely remember to take my vitamins. 🤦🏻‍♀️. This was very informative thank you.

@@islaadele1212 oh, yes, my stress is off the roof due to a recent loss and I feel my shock I wearing out….. this is now my 3rd month and I bled for 6 days prior to my period…. Im going to try to do a little exercise and do something about how I handle stress. Im not suicidal but I can’t wait to leave this world, any illness would actually be a blessing to me…. But I m not going to be that lucky. But my cramps are stronger now too. 🥴
