I'm turning my 8" lift 2000 F150 4x4 into a camper truck / weather chasing truck with a 36" A.R.E aluminum cap. I'm not fully done with the exterior, I still need to mount all of my light bars but, I made a before/after video on my channel if ya'll want to check it out.

@@kevinbailey224 Same 1999 f150, i’m kindve struggling to find what i wanna do to it.

My dad is giving me our 2002 f150 fx4 supercrew in which I'm heavily inclined to add a lift to it. I'm thinking something not too crazy like a 5 inch to go with the new helo's 17x9s. I don't know much about lift kits yet but want to make sure to do it right and have the drive train angles right and keep the reliability it already has. I agree with other comments that we need more of these builds and these trucks look amazing when lifted.

I have an 03 Supercrew. I'm running 20x10 Fuel Hostages with 33's and a leveling kit. I don't really like these models lifted. I'm rubbing a tiny bit and I took a Dremel to the plastic near the fog light. Very minimal work but it looks beasty low with 33 MT's and 2" spacers.

@@tonygranados6601 I just think that the stock low riding 2wd’s don’t look very appealing or flashy unless it’s a Harley or lighting. The fender flare, larger tires, and slightly taller stance make the truck look more rugged and add a lot of muscle to the look on the 4wd’s. I will say if it is lifted too much like say over 6 in, it can look a bit goofy. I saw a truck the other day at les Schwab like mine a Supercrew. It looked stock but also looked taller or had bigger wheels. As I walked up closer, I realized it had smaller rims with meatier tires, 265/75r16 as opposed to my 265/70r17’s. The change in rim size gave it the effect of being taller I think. My next tires next time Id like to be 285/70r17’s. I hope they will fit.

Custom Midnight blueish 1999 Ford F-150 is tight.

I live in northern Wisconsin aswell, and my 99 f150 is absolutely amazing. the only bad rust on the truck is on the tailgate, which can be replaced. Ive had little to no problems with it and I am in no way a ford guy but I love this truck. at 140000 miles and still runs great. the 5.4 has great power for a gasser and is pretty loud stock.

I have a 01 f150 I love the style of the old ford lifted and wheels and tires and now all the lighting you can do just badass man!

I just got my first truck. It's a 1999 F-150 with 72,000 Miles. Its has two spots of rust on the sides but only the size of a balled up fist. Completely stock everything except for maybe a lift ( have nothing to compare to being my first truck :P) I'm super excited to start throwing stuff on it! Can't wait

@@Nickyd. Still have it haha. It's not doing so hot though. I only drive it to work and back now which is about 6 miles. If I remember correctly it's at 112,000 miles now.

More I watch this one the more I like it ! Wasn’t fan of wheels at first but toward the end u get some different angles looks good, not to crazy. I’d like to c some under hood stuf 👍

1:02 "99 rust free is unheard of" my father has a 97 f150 (same as this one) ext cab stepside and its completely rust free, my father's truck looks brand new (no joke) with original paint(have it under roof to avoid sun)...the only thing the truck does have is a couple scratches on the bed due to my mom backing her cars mirror into it but its barely noticeable. We live in texas tho. So no salt on roads.

Great looking truck. I have a 2000 F150 with an 8" lift on it, 37's / 20" rims, new everything: paintjob, 37" aluminum cap/topper for camping, billet grill, headlights, taillights, exhaust, fender flares, bullbar, tow mirrors. 52" rooftop light bar, 22" light bar for the bull bar, 6" led fog lights, 22" lightbar fire the rear and four led pods just need to be installed. Transformation video is on my channel if ya'll would like to see.

When my build is done, I'd like to see if they would want to spotlight mine. I'll show my interior since it'll look like new when I'm done. Full comms setup: ham radio, GMRS, CB police scanner, in dash dvd player with old school high end Pioneer casette for all my old tapes.

Man I wanted to see the rear bumper I have a 03 f150

lights like that were cool in high school lol, ditch em and it would be a dope truck.

I really want to see under the hood I know you guys probably aren't sponsored by any of the brands that you added for the upgrades but I'm more of a mechanics guy don't get me wrong I love all of those lights and everything but under the hood is where it counts.

+Custom Offsets Maybe it's a preference thing, but I'm a Paramedic First Responder in my civilian job & I really don't see a need to have that many lights... Maybe that's just me...

Lookin cool is expensive bro,save up some green cuz it'll take a huge chunk of change to get the lift,tires,wheels,lights etc.etc.

Save yourself some money and go with the rough country 2.5 lift with n2o shocks, run you about 250 and once on you can run a 33x12.5 tire with no mods to the wheel well

Were can I get the demon eyes for the headlights since I have the same headlights?

I have a 2001 F150 4x4 cranked keys to 24 inches and i have a set of 20x10s and whating to put 33s maybe even 35s im ok with cutting plastic but just wondering will they rub or even be able to turn well...really wanting to know if they will fit

+Custom Offsets everything together, I'm about to be getting a 99' F150, and would love to do something similar to this.

I beat you to it on the flush mount back up lights.

don't like the wheels and tires. a 17x10, 16x10, or 18x12 with some Nitto Ridge Grapplers or Mud Grapplers with more "poke" or better negative offset would be beastmode for the truck. JS

The paint work on the truck looks a little under par.
