Apple Music has better organization

Main reason why I prefer Apple music is you can add local music files, like mp3s, any music you have that isn't on any streaming service. And it will get uploaded to their cloud and stream on apple music alongside all your other songs. Also I like the Spotify playlists and sometimes I'll copy one over to Apple music if I feel like it, but I hate how it's like 95% podcasts now everywhere I look. Like seriously who do I have to contact to get Joe Rogan's face off my home page? Also Apple music is reminiscent of the iPod and I like that. You have a library sorted by artist, album, etc. You can make playlists for sure but you don't have to. On Spotify I either have to take time to individually search up music and make a new playlist or scroll through 5 years of liked songs to find exactly what I want to listen to and add them to the queue. It's annoying

I use Apple Music and all my friends that use Spotify say the most annoying thing is when it adds random songs to your playlist that you don’t want to listen to and when u try to play a song it shuffles related songs, annoying asf

Not sure it’s a feature on apple but a person like me that enjoys going to concerts, I like that Spotify has the feature of showing if any artist you’re listening to is having a show soon or just concerts happening in your area in general 🤗

The problem I have with Spotify is that my recommendations are songs I already listen to. I recently moved to Apple Music and I don’t even need to search up some random playlist to find new songs instead it gives me what new suggests songs and if u want to listen to my stuff specifically I’ll do that

yep it's true i've been there but apple music on apple devices learns what kind of music you are listening to and what songs you are listening the most and after a big analysis it gets right

Exact opposite for me. Spotify always recommends music I don’t like while Apple Music recommends the music I actually listen to.

Ever thought about creating your own playlist??

I've been using spotify for 3 years and recently i figured apple music's sound quality is way better than spotify and im searching for a way to transfer my playlist's

I’m a spotify enjoyer and I’ve just got a trial subscription on apple music. While the quality may be better and the songs are a bit louder, you only feel the difference in good earphones or speakers. The two main things that will always keep me using spotify are the playlists that really fit my mood, as mentioned in the video, and also the fact that I can use spotify seamlessly on my iPhone, windows laptop, tv and anything else

Even though when you close your phone the music is still on

when samsung said you haven't your quota...

I use spotify on my computer and apple music on my phone since I get it with my plan

I think Spotify algorithm works like "tempo/bbm" tracking, I'm not sure how it's called but at least from my experience is what I know. However, it's not without it's imperfections, every now and again I'll get a music track that finds itself to be completely out of place with the ton of the random queue currently playing.

Using spotify for almost a year now and im thinking to go for apple music because of licensing issues with spotify here in india many songs are not available to listen on spotify

KZread Music is so slept on, you get KZread premium included which makes it a steal against the other streaming services.

The only thing that keeps me on Spotify is the ability to swipe songs!

and musi is better than both of them. 😂 everything on youtube is on there, and they mute their ads, so it can’t interrupt your listening experience. both apple music and spotify require you to pay some type of subscription to listen to music uninterrupted.

It's funny how people who are using ytm always say that but it's mid to me. spotify recognize less known artists like artist from bandcamp but ytm doesn't know about them. maybe it's okay if you only care about main stream music.

Sound quality is shit, it’s exactly like youtube sound quality

I’m currently going thru this currently dilemma and it’s driving me insanse lol esp since I don’t wanna pay for both. I got the new AirPods Pro and I’m not gonna lie the audio does sound slightly better but with all my years of playlists and the algorithm being so good on Spotify not to mention I can tweak the EQ pretty well Idk what to do. I will listening to certain artists like Radiohead on Apple is a game changer. I was hearing things on songs I never heard before and I’ve owned some expensive headphones.

KZread Music is the best of both.

Idea: Just buy KZread premium, get premium features, + use KZread Music, which is almost the exact same as spotify.

Y'all ain't gonna like this one but I got a 1up: KZread Music Every song on the planet, Plenty of good playlists created, and the music discovery while not as good as Spotify is still pretty good.

i noticed the same thing. its hard to find good songs, but spotify will find them for you. youtube music is pretty good at it too, but spotify is so much more simple to use.

I have that same experience with Apple, but I’ve been using it since 2019 so I guess it just knows me better.

so lucky, free no premium spotify users have to suffer the pain and disrespect bcs they keep recommending spngs that aren't in my playlist and have never listened to before and the button to turn this off only works for premium

let’s be honest the difference in sound quality is not that noticeable through Bluetooth like most claim. I’ve used both and its not much of a difference just different compression types

Unless you headphones or earbuds use LDAC or aptX HD or any other lossless protocol, there’s virtually no difference. The only difference you may hear are the differences in the master.

KZread Music just sitting there...

I listen to my entire Spotify discography on apple music only bc it sounds better but when I want new music I go to ol' reliable!!

The main reason I use Apple Music is because for me, it uses no data. With my data plan, I get unlimited apple music, whereas if I used Spotify, it would cost me HEAPS of money.

If Spotify changed their like system then I would love it. I don’t want the songs I liked going to a playlist. But there’s pros and cons to both. I like how you can easily play Spotify on other devices. Like I can switch easily from my phone to my Xbox to my speaker all while staying where I am in the song.

I'm so tempted to move to Apple Music because of sound quality. Something with Spotify quality as of late just doesn't sound as good. I swear some songs even sound better on KZread.

It all sounds the same when you listen to old music.

Apple: sound quality and you can upload your own music to iCloud. Provided playlists and recommendations are good enough. Radio stations are nice. Switching to Apple was a no brainer😀

Me who use KZread music for my main Music streaming platform

I choose neither because I use iTunes and I don’t have to pay a subscription each month, and when I buy a song I just pay for it and it lets me listen to it forever and I don’t have to pay each month and the iTunes library will never go away

I like Spotify but when I try to play a calm song it doesn’t play that no it plays some ac/dc Ice spice Mgk pop smoke mixed in one and it’s annoying :/

Never had that issue with Apple Music, plus they pay musicians more per stream than Spotify.

The problem you have with Apple is the exact one, I have with Spotify.

I just like Apple Music because of the cleaner interface. I listen to the same stuff every day so I don’t care about the algorithm. My algorithm is the Shuffle button. I still use KZread Music sometimes tho since I have Premium
