Thanks Tiny!! Your watching liking 👍 and sharing really helps to keep us going 👍 😊
How right you are....there is so much more to life than just ESP metering, it's good, but so is using other metering methods according to the scene... thank goodness for going through the 70's and using film and a hand held light meter only to learn about light and shadow.. you had to get it right or a 3 week wait for film to come back to you after sending it off for developing to see your pictures...only to realise they were all wrongly exposed...a good learning curve.. lol

Thanks very much. Steve. Appreciate your support. Mike
Great video. Good tips and in fact you confirmed the settings I have alighted on, which are pretty much the same as your C1 (birds on the ground, in trees etc) and C2 (birds in flight with +2 EV dialled in). The ability to turn a dial and go from one mode to another is incredibly useful. It was also interesting to hear a bit about your life experiences with photography. You should do more of that as you clearly have a lot of knowledge to share.

Thanks very much for watching and especially for the kind words. I am always looking for new ideas for videos. I've been working away for 60 years at Photography 📸, seen many changes for sure. I will be covering the banding of Purple Martins tomorrow morning 🌄. I'm really looking forward to seeing that. We have some travel videos on Bellas Vistas such as Driving the Dempster and Haines Alaska. Thanks again. Mike
Very good explanation on how to use all the different exposure settings. I actualy never use anything else then center weight light metering. Tried all the different modes but felt it didn't make that much of a difference and kind of stuck to the center one. Thanks for sharing. Grt guido

As I said Center weighted metering was a real big deal when it came out. I sometimes come across situations where some other metering mode can simply things. Like my UK guy advises to use one meter mode and learn how to adjust the exposure compensation settings
