30 years in law enforcement and I’ve never had a call where someone stole a safe bigger than 2’x2’ that they could carry. Every firearm taken was not secured inside the home or vehicle. This safe will be fine, most thieves are in and out quickly. Put a motion sensor camera on your safe and you can call 911.

That’s not a safe there is no concrete in it if you can carry it into your home, crackheads can carry it out always bought a safe down. It’s not just for security reason the door is where all of the weight is and if that doors open you run the risk of it tipping over on you or a small child theft is not the only reason you bought them down i’ve been a safe technician for 33 years. I’ve seen the industry change a lot. I always recommend a mechanical dial for the longevity. You can let it sit for 20 years and go and open it up the sergeant Greenleaf and Leard keypads they usually give you one to two indications that they’re going, but most people overlook themand think it’s a malfunction. I’m glad they finally put a key on there so after the fire you can get it open easily.

@@Copper1268 it is a safe and it was empty when I carried it in the home. Bolted and weighted now. Even without that it would take 2 pretty muscled up determined crack heads with plenty of time to get it done with weight in it Again not everyone can afford a 10,000 safe. Is a 6-10,000$ safe better? Yep, although in these times especially, people can’t afford it. (Myself included) this Safe is fine for most peoples needs.

Thank you. The video shows that for my collection I would have to remove the top shelf as most are FULL size military rifles (mosin ,mauser, Arisaka etc..)

This not a safe, it’s a security container and not a very good one at that. Look at the gap in the door, can’t find anything on the thickness of the walls but for that price and weight probably 12 gauge at best which only keeps out a determined toddler. If you can afford to fill this safe you can afford to buy a real safe.

  • @RawHawg

They are all security containers. This one I’ll call a safe. With enough time any safe can be cracked or torched. There are different levels of safes for sure but still an entry level safe isn’t all that bad. Also there is no gap in the door. It seals completely with the factory seal (which fils the gap) and is actually hard to close somewhat.

EVERY "gun safe" is nothing more than an rsc (short of an amsec tl30, which.. still is an rsc, just a good one). Further, the gap in the door is a non issue, and featured on all (what were calling) safes. I've been involved in designing, building, selling, and installing safes, vault doors (including bank vaults) for 36 years, and can unequivocally state you are an idiot. The issue with this item (and most at around this price) is the lock. It's a cheap, shitty china item that's easily defeated (mainly due to the key backup slot). It's also missing a relocker. The sad truth is, even several thousand dollar rscs can be broken into in less than 2 minutes (vids all over youtube of this, on amsec, ft knox, liberty, rhino, etc). At the price these sell for they are a good value. And sufficient for "most." Id never say "buy as cheap as you can" but the truth is, a properly installed rsc of this caliber WILL deter most smash and grab amd oppertunistic thieves, which is 90% of break ins. It will also protect fire and flood. Its adequate for most, although if you can afford better, you will certainly get better. Being a faux dbag on youtube with your 5 minutes of googled research just got you smacked down, and i hope you learned, and will conduct yourself in a more mature manner going forward. Fwiw- this rsc features 10 ga metal walls, so again, even your basic "facts" are wrong.
