Last Chance Auto Restore.com is Proud To Announce a new division called Sportman Motors.
A Complete Custom Built Car with a custom built Chassis for a Classic Volkswagen Beetle Body.
From the outside, it looks like a normal air cooled Volkswagen Bug.
The big news is the chassis. A Fuel Injected Liquid Cooled 4 Cylinder engine with an available Automatic Transmission!
The new Custom Chassis has 4 Wheel Disc Brakes, 4 Wheel Adjustable Suspension and more!
There will be 3 Models Available...
1) Sportman "A" (Automatic Transmission)
2) Sportman "S" (Sporty 5 Speed Manual Transmission)
3) Sportman "T" ( Twin Cam Turbo Engined)

Is is possible to ship overseas just the chassis, with the independent suspensions, disk brakes, roll bar, etc. I'm in Malaysia, we could get source a local VW bug body, tires and engine fixed in. I can't possibly import a car with tires and engine, that would be illegal, but a hunk of metal is fine. Also, we drive on the opposite side but I reckon that could be engineered to work locally. Would be very keen on this if it's possible.
Any more development on this idea?
Hello VW Bug world, I’m pulling out a ford pinto engine 2.3, out of my Rail buggy and getting a 1915 Cc VW stock engine, it’s about time, it’s a dual carb and being installed by a 50 year plus experienced VW mechanic! My question is, He’s installing stock carbs and a stock muffler! What modifications are best to have my mechanic Install as he spends the next 2 weeks installing my new Engine into my rail buggy? Thanks so much ! Please be as specific possible !

I am going to purchase a Sterling kitcar on a VW chassis. I want to change out my chassis for one of your chassis with watercooled engines maybe an automatic transmission. If possible how do we contact your new division, Sportsman Motors.

We are not sure on price yet, but we will let you know when the first model is complete. I would guess the Automatic Model would be around $24,000 USD (plus applicable taxes). We will confirm this in the near future. John Nizman Sportman Motors.com
