    Least accurate driver in the Masters hit "only 60% of the fairways". Lol, "only 60%"... I'm lucky to hit 3 or 4 fairways a round, being like 25% max.

    big guys just create the clubhead speed with less effort because they have a wider width in the swing. they dont need the crazy hip speed if they both had the same hip speed yes the bigger player would hit it further. most of it has to do with consistency in hitting in the middle of clubface and launch angle.

    he has to generate extra swingspeed, to make up for his lack of bodymass, the smaller you are the faster you have to swing, BUT if you miss time it, you will lose the momentum from your body, you need that weight behind the ball and moving, he has an amazing technique probably the best out there, but he was beaten by a bigger guy with a lesser technique, due to bodymass.......it annoyed me when he was beat, because jamie was better, but he didn't have the mass,..........

    there's just no way that blue line at 02:00 is 22 feet long, thats 6.7 meters or 7.8 yards. That part may also me very misleading because they might actually talk about the whole swing, from start to finish. In that case they did a bad job.

  • @ibrahimbawi

    Well the driver is about 45" plus another 18" from bubba's arms to the rotation point. We know he rotate the club about 270 degrees (.75 of a circle), so lets estimate the curve: R=45+18=63" Distance= 2*R*Pi* 0.75=296.73"=24.73'. So the answer is: its possible to get 22 ft swing distance. 😉

  • @tcs4duke

    and the type of shot youre hitting. but ex. Ernie else vs hunter mahan. ernie being the bigger man obviously. Ernies club head speed and ball speed are 113.3 and 168.27 respectively and hunter 112.05 and 166.15. what your saying is the speeds are very similar so ernie should blast it by hunter since he is bigger. total distance. ernie 294.8 hunter 293.1. ernies carry is about 6 yards longer but that is more because of lance angle: ernie 14.04 hunter 11.12.

    Javier Valenzuela lol what? No. People with poor flexibility and motor coordination coupled with low amount of fast twitch fibers will never hit 300 yards in normal conditions no matter how much they want it. Even with perfect shot. Majority of PGA tour pros have avg drive of less than 300 so I don't think it's such an easy task.

    Not everybody knows how to hit a golf club and getting even 200 yards would be a big achievement. I have a pretty good aim on my drivers. But only hit 200 yards.

  • @fradaja
    @fradaja10 жыл бұрын

    a wide arc creates more clubhead speed yes but you need mass too..........that's why ladies don't play off the same tees as guys.........craig stadler was long, but didn't create alot of clubhead speed, you need MASS x Velocity.But that doesn't sell drivers.

  • @fradaja
    @fradaja10 жыл бұрын

    it wouldn't be impossible because you need mass to create momentum, mass x velocity = momentum, rory creates momentum through his hips ,so did tiger, "fast hips"this screwed tigers knee up, clubhead speed is a factor but without mass it's nothing, have a look at any pro with driver, at impact face on, see where the weight is in relation to the ball, e.g two bullets one 0.05 kg the other 5 kg hit a wall at 1000 m/s which one will do more damage?

  • @tcs4duke
    @tcs4duke10 жыл бұрын

    yea most big guys will hit it further but its because they can create more clubhead speed. ernie is a longer hitter im not arguing that my point is just they both had similar clubhead speeds in that example and they went about the same distance. where's the mass difference come in play? and he is carrying it farther because he has a higher natural launch angle. in that ex. ernis spin rate= 2566 rpm and hunters= 2486.6.

    at 54 the stat says 152' degree shoulder turn NO NO NO THE PROTRACTOR IS NOT FLAT ITS ABOUT 45' TILTED TOO THE LEFT can you respond pls. the real angle is not even 100'

  • @AgencyEric

    @AgencyEric

    10 жыл бұрын

    Obviously the protractor isn't flat...it needs to be perpendicular to the spine for an accurate measurement. Golfers maintain some shoulder tilt, so in this case Dustin's spine is tilted away from the target with the left shoulder higher than the right. The protractor is slightly tilted from level so it can be exactly 90 degrees to DJ's spine. I'm not quite seeing their 152, but it's certainly greater than 120

  • @AgencyEric

    10 жыл бұрын

    Already throwing insults? Tsk tsk. In any event, I think it would be a fair assessment that I read the original comment, considering I responded specifically to your inquiry about the protractor not being flat. You said protractor was not flat, I explained why it wasn't flat and necessarily had to have a left-words orientation, as you need the protractor to be perpendicular to the spine to get an accurate measurement as the spine is the axis around with the shoulders rotate.

    the bullet is not the ball............the wall is the ball, the bullet is the clubhead.....whoever holds the club has to generate momentum with mass and velocity, that's the trick, transferring your mass to the clubhead at maximum velocity with accuracy, have you ever swung easy and Nailed it farther than you anticipated?

    i hear what youre saying. but theres two things 1.) what im saying is it doesnt matter how you create it all that matters is that you can create the clubhead speed. I.E Jamie Sadlowski. 5 10 160 how does he hit it so far with so little mass? 2.) the problem with your example is all golfballs are the same they arent different sizes like the bullets. same with drivers. so if the mass of all the balls are the same the only thing left influencing hte distance is velocity if the club.

  • @fradaja

    and hipspeed........you need mass too it's just physics! tiger and rory had the fastest hips in the game,this creates momentum...............just try swinging with your hips............no arms.........watch that ball fly.........then slowly speed up your hips.........it works.........idrove a 350 par 4 i'm only 5 7" first time in my life

    @vgs44 Yea i bet if you went to a golf course and hit a tee shot, it would go about... 150, maybe 200.......... Feet not yards. I like to see you walk 18 holes in triple digit heat carrying about 30 pounds of clubs, balls, and whatever else. It takes skill to throw a touchdown pass, but it take more skill to hit the fairway off the teebox. 2 slight degrees off. And you end in the woods. Golf may not be the most athletic, but it definitely takes the most skill of any sport
