One of the most frequently played games on my Wii when I was a kid. So many memories...

As someone who has only played Spore on the PC... holy hell this is way different and it's pretty cool

this is such nostalgia and this game was my favorite when i was a kid and to this day its still my favorite game ever

@@burrowthechurro its like if spore was the sims. Honestly I actually like spore hero more, yeah it's not as much of a sandbox but its got a nicer vibe and gameplay thats actually fun

i miss this game

I loved the implied story behind this; the presence of these two powerful, overarching forces. Both of them locked in eternal conflict, one seeking destruction while the other fights to protect the sanctity of intelligent life across the universe. I choose to believe that this is a prequel to the main game: after Zarkhator’s defeat, the forces of life exploded out into the universe to replenish the worlds he had destroyed, giving rise to countless intelligent races, ours included.

I always kinda assumed it was a prequel mostly because you can see an explosion in the beginning where a galaxy forms, which would mean the galaxy you control in the PC game was derived from that strange explosion.

This game was my childhood. I still think about it often at age 22. Thank you for posting!

You see, most of these comments are about the nostalgia we had as kids from this game. But what I want to know is how come you can run this game in 4k perfection, but when I try to run endless ocean blue world, everything goes to chaos?

I was so envy of the PC version back in the day, with all the freedom and multiple styles of gameplay, but now, I kinda thing that this one aged way better 😅😅😅

I think the action combat, minigames, and overall style of the game was great, but it was just hard to go from a sandbox of total freedom to a linear adventure RPG. If they made a full spore game with the gameplay of spore hero that would be awesome.

Too bad the gameplay improvements would be limited to the creature stage and maybe galactic adventures.

@@Humaricslastcall True, this type of gameplay would only really enhance those stages. I guess other stages like Tribal and City would need gameplay improvements inspired by empire building games like Age of Empires and Civ.

Most player of the first spore was disappointed when spore hero was release because it was not like the game we liked
