Here is a very interesting SPORE DRUID / PALADIN Build Guide in Baldur's Gate 3! What's awesome about this build is the fact that we get to summon zombies and smite with huge damage. We get additional damage from the spore druid's symbiotic entity form. This is only active when we have the temporary health so we want to be defensive, that's why we wear heavy armor. This build is surprisingly tanky, has the ability to cast spells, and you can also smite. There is a lot of versatility here with the damage output you can do. You can also call lightning when you run out of spell slots.
This is a lot of fun but also very powerful!!

Spore-berserker is peak, you only ever need to put three levels into barbarian since you use the bonus action in place of extra attack and use halo of spores reaction in place of a bonus action. Its very strong since rage keeps symbiotic entity active for longer, and you can put 9 levels into druid and basically get all the major features of that class.

I know what I’m testing tomorrow!! Wildheart bear would get resistance to all damage types but physical for extra tankiness

I don't know if you did one already, but what about Throwing Berserker Barbarian? I usually dip it into Rogue (Thief) and Warrior (Eldritch Knight).
dude I know you said that someone requested this but damn, I was like, JUST thinking about doing a paladin or a spore druid! 🤣 as always thank you for your excellent videos :)

Well here’s the best of both worlds!! They’re both very fun classes. I really like the spore Druid in particular and I think it’s underrated

Glad you enjoyed! For the first few levels put the wisdom stats into strength, or use the Gloves of dexterity with a finesse weapon like Phalar Aluve Or you can start Druid and get Shillelagh and use that with a staff/club Two smites + symbiotic entity is pretty strong! And you can raise an army of undead to take hits for your team

Hmmm that’s a fun one! Sword bard is really strong and can carry the build. Ideally you could get the rogue thief extra bonus action at level 3 but that means you can’t get the magical secrets at level 10 bard. I’ll work on something and come up with a build either tonight or tomorrow!
Wow! This isn't a video I expected! Spore druid paladin....Hmm. Paladin of Talos, maybe? Evil Spore Druid? I'm thinking of lore for this tav rn...

Paladin it talos sounds cool 😎 This could work well for Minthara since the underdark has mushrooms / spores and she’s a paladin. And Minthara is quite evil herself !

Hey Jay, can you recommend some appearance mods ? I'm new to modding and just discovered nexus mods. Maybe something i can use to change hair, race, facial features etc. I noticed you are using some of them, so i thought I'd ask. There are several to choose from, i just don't know which are safe/easy to use.

What’s funny is I don’t actually use any appearance mods! I use the console command to remove the illithid appearance and Volo’s eye but that’s really it. I’m a fan of the immersive UI, native camera tweaks and WASD Movement Tav’s hair salon is a good one but I haven’t used it myself
I have to stop coming to your channel I will never beat this game!

Luckily the spore Druid can bring it back to life! 🧟♂️ Sometimes the comments on my videos disappear I don’t know why!

I honestly dont understand how youre going to start paladin with that low strength and dex. Seems like this isnt meant to be a guide and more of something you just respec later when youre bored.

You can use Shillelagh to use wisdom for attack rolls. Respec costs 100g and it’s quick and easy to do! You can get the gloves of dexterity and phalar aluve easily in act 1 if you’re concerned about str/dex
