New version using the WH10 Fanclub CD (non-commercial) audio is watchable on my old JayBTV channel;: DMB - Spoon w/ Brandi Carlile - 6/22/13 - Deer Creek - Version 2 - [Multicam/WH10 SBD Audio]

It sort of baffles me how little attention Spoon, Dreaming Tree, Last Stop (and Cry Freedom, for that matter) get from the band, considering they're all easily in the top twenty songs they've ever written.

was there for my first spoon ever... only took 41 shows to get it. forget the haters, Brandi held it down. Alanis never performed this song live. still get this chills from that evening; no band does it better.

I was at this show. Epic! Brandi was at the side of the stage during dmb encore. Walked up to her.... Yelled, she reached over signed my ticket stub. Awesome night!

i'm guessing it was Brandi's idea to play Spoon since DMB rarely plays this and she absolutely nails the vocals! This song is so much better with her I love it now!

Could Carter be god? This song is one of my favorites, the jam was fantastic, Brandi was wonderful, and the compilation of images perfect!

This is the last time that I have been able to see DMB. Great memories of one of my favorite versions of Spoon. I remember how great Brandi filled in for Alanis.

This song is at best on the record tho. It's such a wunderfully complex song it's fuckin hard to nail it live. But it's one of the best song i know. I love Alanis vocals on the record and Brandi did a terrific job here. Dave wasn't near the record quality at first, but he picked up after a while. But anyways, this is always a fuckin great song, fuckin love it!!
