That's their stated goal, but in reality they're a bunch of whackjobs, lunatics and mad scientists that want to turn other races into a new form of Necron. So in addition to Necron Pariahs, they also have regular non-Blank humans who've been turned into Necrons, as well as Orks, Eldar, Tau, and an assortment of miscellaneous species, some of which are just wild animals that were chucked in the furnace to see if they could be turned into Necrons. They are currently trying to hunt down and capture various Tyranid bio-forms to subject them to bio-transference and see what happens, but any time the Osirians show up the Tyranids immediately retreat for some reason.

#dynussy The Ashberah Dynasty. They look like vengeful ghosts (white and black colours with bright red eyes and blades), and are ruled by a Phaerakh too scared to lose her stuff. In turn, they experiment with the Pariah Gene on a space marine chapter so to not be bothered with elves and unclean human magicians.

#Dynussy The Kentuckyahk Dynasty was famed for their culinary talents. In life they stored the most sacred KFC Spice Mix Recipe from which all Silent Kings would revel in their culinary delights. They unfortunately fell to the Flayer virus when they were turned into the Necrons and could no longer eat.

I gotta say one of my favourite parts of these podcasts are the questions. They are so funny and sometimes insightful. Its crazy.

#Necrussy This white and azure dynasty is called The Ultra Dynasty and takes inspiration from Rome and Greece (unique for the Necrons). They are known to be so disciplined they even self repair faster then other Dynasties and are great at diplomacy, with many of their middle class members well reanimated enough to help control entire regions of space. Their leader is well equated with the Eldar (arguably too much according to many of his equals) and sees them as equals in different fields. Their recently resurrected leader is known as Robot Gyroman. (And yes, this was yet another long winded attempt at making an actually funny joke about Guilliman’s name. Please leave your laughs in the receptacle below).

I just got done with The Infinite and The Divine and I like how it's basically about an eons long nerd fight between a history major and computer science major.

So Me'phetran originally meant "the prophet" or "the truth bringer" or if you want to get real meta memey "the word bearer" but the necrons were so furious with the c'tan that when they rebelled they changed the meaning of the word to "the deceiver"

I think it was the Sisters of Battle on Sanctuary 101 that first "encountered" them, they had a book on it but i believe by the end they destroyed all the technology and everything so nothing to report. Plus you have to remember that in universe communication and reporting is slow so, things could be kicking off in three different places with the same people and unless they're close by no one will know. Prime example the Horus Heresy a lot of stuff was happening at the same time and no one knew immediately.

They are currently being lead by Phaeron Settrahk the Many Titled. The alleged cousin of the Silent King. While his origins are largely unknown. It is rumored that he was founded by Szarekh during his exile in a warp rift fighting off a massive hoard of deamonic entities.

They grew in size and strength as they combined the technology of multiple races along with their own and were the ones to setup the meeting in which the Silent King requested Immortality from the Old ones. With the start of the war in heaven they were tasked to deal with xenos races on the fence on joining a side and to either keep them there or make them neutral with a rare alliance or two being made. The Deceiver and Outsider took a liking to them and the unorthodox weaponry of the dynasty was used to slay the slippery Deceiver. The phaeron of the dynasty disliked the members of the Sautekh Dynasty but the phaeron of the Sautekh dynasty kept it from escalating during the days of the necrontyr. They were the first to reawaken before even the men of iron's creation upon Alpha Centauri. Sharing a few experiences with humanity's peak and trying to establish at least a cordial relationship with the then Aeldari empire they eventually realized it was too early for them as no other Necron had awakened yet. So they once again fell to a slumber waking up millenia later during the 42nd millenium instead of randomly like most dynasties a large chunk awoke at the same time as they had set their slumber a far earlier time period than the original slumber they took. Their warriors can transform into any form of matter near instantly and still keep up their deadliness. Going from a liquid you cannot truly hit, to plasma you burn when you touch it to a regular solid like the average necron warrior. The Phaeron now awakes from his slumber only to learn that Imotekh the stormlord an individual he once despised has returned and has taken the leading role in the Sautekh dynasty. So he even with limited memories of his days as a necrontyr seeks to stop Imotekh in his tracks and has avoided the Imperium's wrath despite being so close to Terra itself. Though he still unsure of what to make of their former singular ruler Szarekh, The Silent King. So he has opted to help humanity against the orks, what he sees are warp parasites in the warp AKA chaos and the seemingly new threat of the Tyranids. As he finds them honorable due to past experiences and the additional respect they've earned in his eyes for conquering the galaxy in a time of unwanton chaos. Fun fact a large force of Imperial fists came to destroy the tomb world in the Alpha Centauri system but were greeted with a diplomat sending a message that wished to go through the process of becoming a client empire not done since the days of the great crusade. Which made them back off and ask for a custodian from the days of the great crusade to deal with the odd Dynasty. With them succeeding in setting up a small alliance ..... I think I went into too much detail for a brief summary

Great episode and the Necrons are the only hard counter to the Tyranids and Chaos. Everyone else struggles.

#Dynussy The Waaghtek dynasty has discovered that orks power of belief actually works and now paint themselves green and grow even harder in that color than regular necrons. They also keep a bunch of orks stuck on a few planets and fight them from time to time so they can keep boosting themselves with ork belief.

If I remember correctly the silver skulls space marine chapter appears in the Ciaphas Cain books right at the end of one being ordered around by Inquisitor Amberley Vail.

As of the current 42nd mullinim, they will exist in realspace only for a short period before their space hulk, Exodus of Tears, goes back into the warp again. The Voh`Thek Dynasty. Their Phearon is unresponsive and are run by a triarch of 3 crypt-techs who bicker and argue in private but present outwardly as unanimous regents. They have given up on returning to flesh and are trying to improve on their mechanical bodies and repair the minds of their warriors. It's very slow-going, and at this point they have a handful of warriors hooked up to human flesh puppets relearning how to walk. The prime throne world of the dynasty, Voh`Than`Kai, is now an imperial hive world. The dynasty is in no position to run off the Imperium, and so they are lying low. They have agents amongst the human populace, not least of which are some of the servitors. Acting as the eyes and ears of the triarchs as they go about unseen and unheeded.
