Carol, your video made me smile. We all struggle. I would much rather watch a video of you being you than a video that has been edited to death or worse a “voiceover”. It’s so much easier to relate with someone that’s more like me! Love what you are making here. Amy’s kits are fabulous!

Of course I watched to the end! I always love watching your process, Carol, and I love your personality. It makes me laugh when you say you're "all sixes ands sevens" and things like that! I've told you before I often talk to myself too, "Come on, Denise. Wake up!" And listen, every single junk journaler I watch on YT struggles too. I've watched some crafters make huge mistakes which they turn into masterpieces! You're in good company, Carol. All your work is masterpiece level!

Oh Carol, I just love your channel. You never cease to amaze me - always make me smile. I have days like that too. I think of them as a Comedy of Errors. A good name for my current project... I decided to make a beetle journal. It was supposed to be a simple soft cover one signature piece. I bought an appropriate themed kit thinking it would be clear cut and thus easy. As I worked, it grew too thick so I removed it from the cover and divided it into two signatures, a good thing because I noticed some pages were upside down. It kept growing so sewed them into a hard cover instead, one signature upside down. Resewed it correctly and decided it was too bulky, so took some ephemera out. Then I didn't like it as much. So I decided to print out the kit again and start over. This is a gift for someone so probably being too picky. I did the exact same thing - made the one signature too bulky BUT everything was right side up. So I had a talk with myself and decided a bulky softcover journal wasn't bad and it gave me an idea for a special closure. Also, a closure that would make the hard cover version satisfactory for me, so put all the ephemera I took out, back in, and then had to make more for the 2nd one. Now I have two journals and don't know which one to give as a gift. So I've decided not to decide for a week or two when I'll revisit them. What should have been a weekend project turned into two months of indecisions, errors, fixing and fussing. So I can totally relate to what you experienced with this video. *Thanks for sharing.* 😁

@@carollaws838 I'll look for the kit link for you. I thought I'd decide between the two journals, but after a bit of time I came up with another option... make a third one. 😁 That I'm doing now and loving it. 👍

I am chuckling along with you at the dog noises, soon joined by cats and then the finale, the car horn. So funny. I am careful here not to film on Mondays. That is when the cleaning crew shows up and runs their vacuum, bangs the trash in the dumpsters below, and yell back and forth to each other. Oh, and then there is Friday morning when the leaf blowers make the most obnoxious blasts, both auditory and sensory. I never know when the recycle truck comes. He makes a banging, slamming racket as he fills his huge truck. It can be a minefield.

Hallowe’en isn’t my thing but I loved watching you work. Like everyone, little things get in the way when your crafting. For me it’s the cat demanding food , or Mother wanting to known about something we have done earlier in the day. For you it was unruly cats and dogs😅 crafting life isn’t perfect and it shouldn’t be. You reassure us that even a super wonderful creator, like yourself, make errors but work out a solution . Thank you for another great video😊
