Also you can watch the vampire series by Daria Cohen or the Mystery Skulls series by Mysteryben27; both are an KZread and they are music animation that have an ongoing plot.

id suggest peeking at the lore behind spooky month, cause there is A LOT. from the cult of "everything" to all of the Eyes of the Universe lil cameos, to whatever happened to skid's dad. whenever a new episode comes out there is a literal ARG that gets solved by the community. have fun!

I feel like everyone always talks about either helluva boss or digital circus when it comes to indie animation. Those are both amazing shows, but no one rarely talks about my favorite which is spooky month and that makes me a bit sad, so im super glad you made a video about it

Surprisingly there's some lore, Skid's dad is a cult leader Bob and the cult are working together And also the Uncle doesn't just kidnap kids, he does.... bad stuff to them, like what he did to his nephew, Roy, the kid with the orange and yellow shirt.

They way that I've (and I think many others have to) interpreted the stuff with the uncle is honestly even more heartbreaking than on the surface. The uncle did some... not nice things to Roy, the "leader" of the Hatz Gang, and then told him to lure more kids to the sPoOkY hOuSe so he could either do... not nice things to them too or for them to be sacrificed for the cult. After Roy said "That's where my uncle takes me", the next time we see the gang, Ross and Robert were facing Roy and Roy shouted "What do you MEAN it's wrong?!?" I think the other 2 were trying to explain to Roy that not only was what his uncle did to him wrong, but what the uncle wanted him to do was wrong as well. But hey, at least the uncle got smoshed and is dead!

Btw Bob is not a demon, he's a cannibal but you probably said that he was a demon because of his looks. And at somepoints you talked as if skid and pump were siblings but contradicted yourself later.

Fun fact: After Dexter exterminator got killed by Moloch he possessed the happy fella doll. And he thought Lila got him to get murdered on purpose so he seeked revenge. And to unpossess the doll he had to make a ritual with a dead animal or dead human. And he wasn't able to kill anything so he got frustrated and he couldn't kill skid and pump because they were kids. Eventually he snapped and tried to killed the kids because he wasn't able to kill anything at all.

IT'S THE SPOOKY MONTH *spooky dances*

Here’s another thing. Stars (the tentacle monster/eyes monster) after saying “look at the stars” or something. In the following episodes there is a pair of 2 stars in every scene that skid and pump is in. Unless in a house of course or in an area that obscures the sky. And these pair of stars are his eyes or a sign that he’s looking down at them. You can also see them at the end of the episode that he is in. And he does a little wink. Look closely.

There's a little hole in the house which might be a hint to the next spooky month monster like a giant rat or a war of rats that would be funny

I actually think the fact with moloch some of the term is that when the first child dies the next one becomes stronger, specifically the next one being stronger actually scarily fits with skid and the cult. Skid seems to be extremely lucky In spooky month, whether it be avoiding getting kidnapped or even literally not falling under the control of eyes. It makes me think maybe with the whole cult thing maybe Lila either had failed to have a kid before or she wanted skid to live long enough to have a good childhood so either skid's dad tried to find a way to keep skid lucky enough to not be hurt by using some demon magic or searching for the eyes to convince it to watch over skid like a guardian of sorts [ cuz it's adds to some explanation why the eyes was so chill with skid and pump when they mentioned spooky month ] and starting the cult in the process, or joining the cult so he could gain some knowledge of the weird demon magic the cult has to try to keep skid from getting hurt, it also helps give another bit of a sad addition to why Lila is protective of skid despite how often he runs into literal demons and even him and pump being pals with a kidnapper. I don't know if Sr pelo would go as far as to include themes of miscarriage in spooky month but the demon stuff seems to connect well with what we know about skid and his family. I'm not trying to claim it as fact or something tho it's more of an interesting idea lol
