There’s an easier way to use the Fierce Deity Mask outside of Boss Battles Set an item you can use at that moment (I prefer the Hookshot or the Transformation Masks) Set that to either the X or Y buttons So that when you press that button it Will immediatly be used Use the Pictobox to go into first person and swap the usable item (Hookshot or Mask) with the Fierce Deity Mask then go back *(DON’T stop using the Pictobox)* Then press L to stop using the Pictobox and then immediatly press X or Y to use the Fierce Deity Mask, and it Will work Because the develepors never expected to swap an item while using the Pictobox it doesn’t become whited out and can be used Exiting the Pictobox Will fix this but only after 4 frames In those frames any item on the X/Y/I/II buttons can be used One of my favorite things to do with this glitch is reach the off-limit areas in Clock Town Go to the area of Clock Town with the Orange Stray Fairy and jump on the side with the chest Jump onto the treasure chest house’s roof at an angle So you won’t go through the loading zone Walk across the edge and the Roll-Jump to the off-limit version of middle area of Clock Town *[WARNING]* (Using The Giants Mask with this glitch softlocks the game) (Speaking to certain NPC characters softlocks the game) (The Guards won’t let you leave Clock Town even though they say they will) (The Double Helix Beam can be used by Locking onto an enemy and then using the normal slash, but it won’t do damage) (You are sometimes too big to go through Some loading zones)

On the 3ds there is an easier way to use restricted items, Equip an empty bottle Equip a restricted item Now use the bottle then immediately use the restricted item

there is an even easier way: go in first person go into items and swap the restricted item with a non restricted items (ex. lens) then press L and the restricted item button at the same time boom

even easier: get homebrew through steelhax or dsihax (think that's what it's called) install homebrew get luma + rosalina menu get cheats for 3ds boom, no glitches required

marioluigimario64, using this glitch method, I fought Captain Keeta using Fierce Deity Link, and Fierce Deity Link actually does the unique salute animation at the end of the fight, without the game bugging out. Makes you think if Fierce Deity was going to be fully playable in the game.

If you didn't already know, you can transform into fierce deity when you clip through to sakons hideout. In the 64 version when you switch over to Kafei open the menu and replace the bunny hood you are wearing with fierce deity and finish the puzzle. You'll walk out as fierce deity and you can free roam a bit.

The other day on 3DS I discovered you can sort of stop time by playing Elegy of Emptyness outside Ikana as it plays out a "nothing happened" textbox yet you're still able to move around, while this textbox is active time won't progress at all, but you sort of can't press any button or the text will advance and resume time, so Mask Storage is technically better since you don't need Elegy and can also use it inside Ikana but the wonky camera and inverted controls can be inconvenient plus the Elegy method requires you to just play the song tho you have to do it again when you close the textbox so it's really up to you. Funnily enough, I did bug out the Postman doing this since he keeps walking as if time is still moving, but I think this could also happen with Mask Storage too anyways

Graveyard jump can be done with the spike between the platforms, roll with bunnyhood onto it and you can jump onto it and then across the gap

I discovered even more glitches on while attempting these glitches. I love games with crazy exploits like this 😂

Things to note about the Fierce Deity glitch in the 3D version: 1. Don't talk to the bomber leader.. He will freeze your game. The one guarding the hideout will either say "Scram! Big guys like you can play somewhere else!" Which, incidentally, is unused and can't be seen without glitches. Maybe this is Nintendo's way of acknowledging the glitch, and basically saying not to play in Clock Town. Probably saying to go play in some boss fights. After all, boss fights are a game to Fierce Deity. 2. Don't go indoors or open any doors at all. This will crash your game. 3. Don't try this with the Giant's Mask. This will crash the game. 4. You will get the same text you get while trying to get on Epona as a Goron. 5. You are actually referred to most as a Goron, although dogs will treat you as Link. You can not pick them up, however. 6. FD's sword beams can't hurt anything but bosses. So don't waste magic. 7. You can use masks instead of items if you want to transform indoors. 8. The guards won't let you out of Clock Town. They acknowledge you have a sword like they do with link, and they say you can go through, but they keep blocking you. 9. Don't go to the moon as FD Link. You will be stuck, as you can't play the Ocarina. Sorry for the long post, but bear those in mind. Also I know he mentioned a few of these, but I thought it would be useful to see them in text.

Lol Goron missile, I love that glitch

I found that using restricted items as zora underwater can be fun. Using the Deku mask causes you to pop out of the whater and to the water hopping, which can technicly help to get on some ledges you cant reach while swimming. Goron crashes the game. You can also do the oot glitch to steal the fishing rod, but i havent found a use for it, since it crashes my game whenether i experiment with my stolen fishing rod.

So theoretically....you could skip stone temple with goron missile glitch?

oh blast mask can also be used, much slower but useful in an allsanity randomizer when the item to get eponas song is locked behind eponas song

This is 3 months late but when I was playing the 3ds version when it came out I had epona and jumped over the jumping thing right next to Romani ranch and galloped in the ground it was interesting to say the least

Hey using the Restricted Items glitch to use Fierce Diety Link outside of clocktown near the entrance to Mountain Village will allow you to walk right through the ice.

You could have said that the "Goron Missile" was the Backwards Long Jump of Majora's Mask.

You don’t have to take a picture using the Picto Box to use the Fierce Deity Mask! Just go into first-Person using the Picto Box, set the Fierce Deity Mask to an empty slot (preferabel X or Y) while still being in first-person, then prees L to exit the Picto Box and then immediatly prees the button you set the Mask to (X or Y) There are around 20 frames where the Mask is usable, if you press the button in those frames Link Will put on the Mask! Easy

Try the Restricted Items Glitch with the Fierce Deity Mask right after beating the King of Ikana (you have to beat him as Link, but while he disappears you've got enough time to perform the glitch before the cutscene). Fierce Deity will use an invisible Ocarina to learn the Elegy of Emptiness.

Not sure If anyone said this before, bit the Fourth day glitch does have a Small gap where you can get out of the telescope and still have the glitch. Anything between 00:00 to 00:04 Makes the glitch happen. I've done this a good couple of times on an old N64 version of the game I had back then.

you can do the deku flower slide in south clock tower by luring the dog to attack you- wanted to share :) (I didnt do it but im certain somebody could)

What nobody knows about the Keaton Mask is that it not only looks like a Pikachu, it also looks like a Renamon from Digimon. I think this was intentional because the Keaton Mask is already supposed to be a nod to knockoff franchises, so that makes it even more okay for it to be a knockoff of two characters from well known franchises, Digimon often referred to as the knockoff of Pokemon, for obvious reasons. Just a funny fact there.

In majoras mask 3d I found a new glitch. When in a deku flower if on the last frame of staying inside it you burst out, use the shoot button and you will be in the ground with the shoot button in the ground. You will be able to move around in the ground.
