audrey burke I’m really not a fan of the newer stuff. Some stuff is one but they are really trust pushing it with the sound effects. There’s moments where it’s nothing but laughing and sound effects for like 3-4 minutes and it’s annoying. I’m not a fan of the new animation style where they move so much and they are just blobs being squished

I think one of the reasons SpongeBob's first 3 seasons are really loved is because of the animation, it's just perfect, some legendary scenes wouldn't even be funny without those details in the animation.

Yes the animation was unique in the earlier seasons but over time they went to doing it digitally and on top of that as spongebib kept going on they kepy hiring more animators and diffrent writers and not everyone can always draw the same 100% I hope one day we can see the old cel style again maybe in soemthing new with its own style but spongebob I still love to this day so glad hes been in my life this whole time

That SB-129 episode is one example of something not overly exaggerated and doesn't look like it's trying so hard in being funny compared to the much later seasons that were pretty bad and uninteresting. The new writers just couldn't match the previous ones in terms of humor.

I hated that Pressure episode. It was a stupid competition between which is superior: land or sea. There’s a difference between a friendly competition and being a total ass.

What's even more amazing is that these are two part episodes and they managed to splice as much content; lore & jokes into 13 minutes. Thats called GOOD writing 👌🏾

If there are two running gags in spongebob that are funny as hell, it’s the “My Leg” and the explosions.

Always loved how Sandy got a Rage Boost and snapped at Spongebob and Patrick after they parodied every negative, Texan stereotypes (even though it was to bait her into heading to the party, I would've been just as livid as Sandy if someone mocked my childhood home town)! Though they got several things wrong with their Texas Party, I was touched how Bikini Bottom put a lot of effort into it for Sandy's sake! ♡
