Honestly half the reason Fandaniel was so puncheable was because he picked ASAHI of all people to steal a body from. So im assuming some of the well deserved vitriolic hate Asahi gets also got pinned on Fandaniel. Fandaniel is still a prick though.

For me it seemed like he was also tryna be a emet selch 2 but was less charming and more annoying. I did like him more by the end of endwalker though
