Agreeeeee. After finding it's just a dream, I felt I wasted my wifi, time, and food while watching it, because it's not the real story. The real story only happen in eps 1 and 16, eps 2-15 was a filler 😭😭😭😭. AAAAA I'M WASTING MY TIIIIIIME 😭😭😭😭

It wasnt a dream, but it was all a waste. He changed/achieved nothing and in fact just made everyones lives worse. All his friends/family lives got crushed after his death and he didnt really care. Like all the villains basically win and dont really suffer in the slightest.

It made no sense. And nobody noticed the two guys look the same? Also he should be in prison after his confession in the court room. I thought he was confessing and going to prison as a good act but no prison even though he should be there.

when he showed that recording during hearing it can be seen that he was not involved in the accident but was just used as a pawn and the coversation between Mr. Kim and Jin Young Ki proved that point .....thats why he didn't go to prison

Everything was perfect until ep16 like how the fuck they can't see that he look like him

Honestly the ending could have been done way better, instead of wrapping up everything in one last episode they could have made it into 5 more episodes. after the death of Do jun when HW wakes up in hospital they could have showed how he was saved. (or even jus as they are about to pull the trigger he fell voluntarily and hit some rock and misses the bullet). When he reaches back to Korea as he obviously meet Mr. oh and with Attorney min young he subsequently for next 3 episodes he uses his business talent to drag the soonyang to the brink and finally take his revenge for both his and Do jun. in between they could have made Mr. Oh and attorney Min young gets surprised that how Do jun and HW way of thinking is same. Any way they wrapped up as though they are out of budget...?

If he was just dreaming how tf he said those exact same dialogues what do jun would've said exact same dialogues when he never met him nor anything was written in the autobiography of the chairman about him? And he used all the memories of present events in buying and handling the shares!! Also the main point he changed the chairman's lifespan by stopping him from riding the plane before getting it crashed so that's the major change he did to the past I'm not buying the fact that he just dreamt someone's life he never met and stuff

Best ending explanation,i liked how you highlighted the screenwriter's hint given at end of the possible progress in future which sort of completes the drama instead of an open ending.

I miss his grandfather and do jun. i was hoping to see do jun become the chairman

I just finished, but I'm too mad about the finale. As you said 15 episodes trying to buy the enterprise and he died like that.

The ending i hope their was not ep 16 i kinda expect strong ending but im so disappointed

I get to know Yoon Hyun Woo only for 2 episode, first and ending while the rest of the 14 episode, I'm attached to Do Jun. The ending felt underwhelming, building emotional attachment to Do Jun and just end like that is just 😬

Yeah i wish they stayed in the past and my yoon just died whwn he got shot but from a story writting perspective i guess they wanted justice for both characters... then again jun dun got the worst deal after all that he died abd never got to take over the company.

Yoon Hyun Woo was a bitter man who wouldn’t have changed his life until he was shot and placed in a coma. His subconscious fueled guilt dreamed that he had traveled in time and became Jin Do Jun who had lived a righteous life. You can’t change the past events, so Yoon Hyn Woo’s subconscious added small changes to fill in the blank spots and added some changes that didn't change history, since Yoon Hyn Woo had stated he knew almost everything about the Jin family. Yoon Hyn Woo wouldn’t have change his life if he hadn’t been shot. Jin Do Jun righteous life had changed Yoon Hyn Woo’s attitude with regard to sin and righteousness; Yoon Hyn Woo became Jin Do Jun reincarnated. “Repentance in the New Testament means to change one's way of life as the result of a complete change of thought and attitude with regard to sin and righteousness”. Jin Do Jun’s righteous spirit now lives in Yoon Hyn Woo as Yoon Hyn Woo looks more relax and contented in his new life. As for Min Young and Yoon Hyn Woo, only the future episodes will tell. I liked the ending, it connect the series and makes a logical ending instead of fantasy ending with no logic.

@@CurvedMoon The Reborn Rich ending was like a Christmas story about being repentant after living a life of sin and in the end changing for the good. Like the crucified thief next to Jesus saying he had done wrong in his life, but Jesus had done no wrong and asking for Jesus’ life be spared instead of this own. Matthew 27:38, Luke 23:32-43 and Mark 15:27; “A dying penitent thief accepts Christ as Lord and Master and is assured by Jesus of a place in paradise…” The spirit of Jin Do Jun is reborn in Yoon Hyn Woo.

I don't think so. It doesnt make sense. So what's the motivation of the real Jin do Jun to buy sunyang? And why is there a miracle Investment in the future? And Does the past has changed because of Hyun Woo or still the same? If the past has changed, why was the real jin do Jun killed by his uncle? And why the real jin do Jun become CEO ? I need the real jin do Jun POV. So it could be make sense

I saw from the first episode, jin do Jun died because a car crash. Why? Why does he kill jin do Jun in the first episode? Does it still have a same reason? Or the reason has changed since Hyun Woo reincarnated become jin do Jun?

@@salsaazizah689 The past never changed. In Yoon Hyun Woo’s subconscious fueled guilt dream he provided his own reversion between what had happen in the past and why it happened. Jin Do Jun did all those things in the past but Yoon Hyun Woo's subconscious added the reasons as if it was him.

Even if everything was a dream, this dream is too good, too good that it's impossible to just think that it's just a dream or something that a person's subconscious mind did. I mean, H. W and Do Jun literally looks the same!!! Or did Do Jun had another face and that wasnt shown ? And, if the one who died was "Director Do Jun", and not just a grandson of Soonyang Do Jun,it paves a way to believe that both H W and Do Jun are real. Do Jun took over Soonyang because he knew the future. It was obvious that he wouldn't be able to do any single thing if he didn't knew the future.

Im a huge SJK fan but this drama was a bit messy...it seems that he was too obssesed in taking over sonyang that he forgot his real mission...to look for his killer and avenge his death..he has a means of helping his original family from poverty, saved both of their lives but no..he dedicated his 2nd life by chasing over money..taking over the stock market all for what? And the ending..he was talking about repentance but he evaded prison..he made it look like as if he was a victim too..he kept the usb for twenty years yet he forgot who DJ was..

It's as if the writers left town at the end and it was written by someone who 1) didn't know the story line and 2) just wanted to get out of town. The end didn't match the story at all. Disappointing.

​​@@CurvedMoonWell remember do jun was hyen woo to begin with. Hyen woo's knowledge of the future was the biggest advantage do jun had after all. We saw how tough it was for hyen woo growing up in crippling poverty and having to essentially be the breadwinner of his family at a young age. We saw that his desperation to get out of poverty and create a better life for himself and his family was the reason he chose to not report do Jun's death and make himself forget that memory. Do jun remembered how had it was for him and his family growing up in in his last life, he once caught his dad stealing food from a grocery just to feed them, so he got infuriated when the family and others who were lucky to be born into wealth looked down on people and didn't even care when their actions affected other people especially the poor. Hyen woo had to tolerate the family's bad behavior and ridiculous demands because being only a high school graduate people would look down on him and it would be difficult to get a good paying job to meet the needs of his family. That's why do jun never did anything in his quest to take over soonyang that would impact the lives of innocent and poor people. The whole reason do jun wanted soonyang to begin with was to get revenge on the family for apparently killing him as hyen woo.

​@@rasalasblack Yeah I wouldn't go that far. Remember the show was about revenge. He wanted to take over the company to get revenge on the family. He not have become the chairman but he still got his revenge and took their management rights from them. It's not the best ending but it's still nowhere near as bad as game of thrones.

The ending can be seen differently from every perspective. Some may say it's bad cause Do Jun still die at the end or because he didn't reunite with his girlfriend. Me, on the other hand, the ending is beautiful. This is one of my favourite 'business thinking' drama. Another example is Pegasus Market. He didn't exactly return to his original personality 100%. The way he command and planned is still him as Do Jun. He can't straight away reveal his identity as Do Jun cause he'll be called crazy. Even to his girlfriend, who finally learn to let go of Do Jun at the end, it's doesn't feel right for him to ask her to forget Do Jun & accept himself (even though he is Do Jun. But to her, that guy is dead). He didn't even reveal it to his partner, Mr.Oh. Only his driver can recognise him, probably because he observe his facial feature & the aura. It's just a guess. & even though he may have the same face & voice, I think the only reason people didn't think of him as Do Jun is cause either the fact the he's dead (He already dead when he join the company) @ he have a different look feature in their eyes @ the aura & personality is different. Yes, he did try to take revenge to find those who trying to kill him. But as time goes by, he noticed that it's the company that tearing the family apart, & that's why he try to buy it over, since he is the youngest grandson the possibility of him taking over is low. Soonyoung's is so damn focus on making the money and fighting for the management right & inheritance that the family are upside down. The only way is for him to take over & correct back the management. At the same time, he already knew that the one who kill him is of the family member so he just let the nature take course. Like he said, what is meant to happen will happen. I also understand the grandfather's action. He's a businessman. A real business thinker can become success even they have no money at all. That's why he didn't give him anything in his will. Cause he knew that his grandson can go further that him. Just like how my grandfather did to my dad. The grandfather also love his children. Even though the kids keep disappointing him, but he keep giving them the chance till the end. Even though, his love is the kind that 'normal' parents give but that's his way of showing love. I know cause my father was treated the same. He especially feel touch when Do Jun received the grandfather's Will video. He (my dad) said that he also be happy if his own father said that my dad'll trample on him to get the company. He'll feel very proud and I guess that's how Do Jun feel it too. I think the reason why at the end, the grandfather's secretary didn't came out was either that he's already dead or he already go somewhere else. Don't forget that it's already been 20 years since Do Jun died. Since he is Do Jun accomplice, he probably already move somewhere like Mr.Oh did. The only thing that puzzle me is that why did Yoon Hwa soul went to Do Jun when he was a kid instead of baby. Is it because that the age that some kids still can remember their memory or why? Sorry for the long note but this is just from my perspective...

don't be puzzled by these transmigration genre in webtoon, manhwa, novel You will find a lot like them they just don't make drama of that because that will cost a lot, may be when kdrama will become more famous(as of now) then those fiction popular novels and webtoon will also get adaption without hesitating about budget.

buddy it is critized because it's different from original writing(novel) In the drama Yoon hwa describbed this as a dream 😂, which doesn't justify all action of dojun how he created a miracle using future knowledge. And these regression, transmigration, reincarnation genre are very general in novel nowdays and drama totally messed it up and the question you asked why when his soul went to when do jun was a kid(why not when he was born). It's all about memory brother, maybe he had all the memory but awakened those memory when he was in car because children have weak memories like we don't know a single damn thing about our childhood.

I think the reason why he went to his teenage instead of childhood is that, that day has a speciality. We can see that H. W becomes Do Jun when he was sitting on the car with his family. That situation has a major significance. Cause it was the first time Do Jun and his brother were going to meet their grandfather and their father's family. Years after the marriage between the parents of Do Jun, it was the first time Yoon Ki and his family were invited to attend a family celebration in their mansion, and that too because grandmother wanted them to come. So, there's no other perfect day for the entry of Do Jun than this. This is what I observed.

As a hopeless Shin Hyun Been fanboi, nothing less than a grand wedding and happy life to Do Joon or his alter ego would have satisfied me. Frankly much of the machinations within the family didn't really grip me, and the acting thereof was comic and not in a good way. It was successful in the ratings, and that is what drives so much of "show business."

I wonder when Hyun Woo wake up from coma, which world he lived in, is it the old one where his mother died after his father get fired or the new one where she died suicide?

Wow! People are so literal and can’t seem to understand concepts of soul swapping. Also, HW did not remember Do Jun in the future, possibly because of trauma amnesia. Things don’t have to be literally explained to make sense. Just use a bit of imagination. You can also fill in the blanks. That’s why the ending was also open ended.

Title should have been reborn poor since do jun's time/death was 20 yrs ago from hyun woo's...

Just finished watching this nonsense ending and came here to vent. So frustrated. The blending of the 2 stories (Do Jun and Yoon) was not handled well. And ep16 felt rushed. If they'd expanded the ending to 2 episodes and gave closure to Do Jun viewers wouldn't be so miffed. Urgh. Can't believe I wasted nearly 16hrs of my life on this. 🤬

I am little dissapointed but I LIKE THAT SERIES 😍😎

I know a lot of people didn't like the ending and i agree. But i would say that it was far from the worst ending and was actually a fairly good ending and i definitely wouldn't say it ruined the whole drama. Because from the start it was Hyen woo's revenge, he simply used his new life as do jun to take revenge. Remember do jun never truly wanted soon yang he just didn't want the family to get it. He didn't want the family to live in peace while continuing to run the company and continuing their misdeeds especially after he leant that his mom's death was indirectly caused by the soonyang family's succession. So his revenge was to take away their management rights which he did as hyen woo using his death as do jun as the means which also finally revealed the truth he hid for two decades and brought him redemption. The show was also about Classism. We saw how the family considered their employees to be dogs and themselves as their masters, the family expected their employees to work hard for them and serve them loyally but the family in turn never showed their employees any loyalty or even much in terms of respect and appreciation and simply saw their employees as disposable. In episode 14 during the final scene where hyun woo and do jun looked at each other we saw how big divide between them was, the divide between rich and poor, as well as the huge difference that generational wealth can have in a person's life or a family's life. We saw that being born into wealth gives a person privileges and opportunities that most don't get. We also saw through the jin family how much the rich tend to look down on the poor or less fortunate. The family didn't care about the poor whether it was their customers or the employees not even when their greed and bad decisions directly affected all those lives. So it was somewhat appropriate that hyen woo who was their former servant and who grew up in crippling poverty was the one who took away their precious management rights from them by using the truth about do Jun's death as the means. The family was finally held accountable. He couldn't get his revenge when he was living as do jun but he managed to succeed by using do Jun's death.

The ending was underwhelming to say the least.

Can someone please tell me how come nothing changed in present time even after he went back in time and saved his grandpa from the plane crash and because he saved his grandpa from plane crash how come nothing changed in present time why is it same as when his grandpa died in plane crash before he went back in time? Is it a plot hole or am I missing something because thanks to him this time his grandpa lived 12 years extra and so many things changed because of that but still nothing has changed at present time 😅

You missed on the details, the kid version clearly said that his plane accident wasn’t mentioned on his biography. WASN’T in the biography. Therefore, he was never in that crash to begin with.

Hope the manhwa does a better job

I m not satisfying with the ending because I m confused who is live do Jun ya yoon hu woo....if do Jun is dead then how he took incarnation.while other one is live .. do Jun do everything to take revenge of his previous life mother. From his family ...now totally get vain .....I really want do Jun live and buy his company

I hated the ending, it made it feel like such a waste of episodes. You build us up and give us nothing at the end. Yon Ki died peacefully, none of the family members went to prison. Jin Do Jun did not get the company and neither did HW. It was too rushed to say the least

I didn’t like the ending. He changed the future. He saved his grandpa and the driver telled that YHW is DJ. I hope they do some more episode or a alternative ending. Where DJ survive and helps YHW not be poor anymore.

@@meeraskhan7494 Do Jun had the same face as Hyun Woo. That what makes Hyun Woo could not remember Do Jun 20 years later, because he killed a person who had the same face as him. Too much trauma held by Hyun Woo from that murder.

Reborn Rich has the worst storyline I have watched so far (and I have watched plenty of kdrama). Nothing is logical or sensible in this drama. First of all, one has to die before one gets reborn, therefore one can only be reborn in the future, not into the past. Worst still Jun Do and Hyun Woo co-existed in the same time period.

Well I mean it's a show so they could give their own take on reincarnation. In shamanism there's this concept of soul fragmentation so guess that's what we saw here. In this anime inyuasha, one of the the main characters existed at the same thing as her revived self from a past life.

Some of you aren't satisfied with the ending because the male lead didn't stay as Jin Do Jun - a rich man who had everything in his hand. In the end a rich and powerful man is always more attractive than a poor and uneducated man. But I think this is a logical ending. It's not bad like the ridiculous ending of "Mr Queen" - a completely different woman become the Queen and the "second male lead" return to the future like nothing ever happened. It was really suck.

Its not that the rich charaxter was the attraction we bonded more with jun dun he has 14 episodes of screen time ans wanted him to win. My yoon died or got shot episode 1 we didnt get to bond with the character thats the problem so buy the timw its episode 16 we are like who the heck is this guy. Also we wathed dun try taking over the company for so mant episodes to see him dye like that. Jun was rich yes but never flaunted his wealth lile that hes attractiveness was his brain how incredibly smart he was and we literally watched him grow.
