The sauna scene shook me but it's 🔥🔥🔥 I didn't expect that one from Penelope Douglas. I'm so invested with this series. So far my favorite was Hideaway! Love your review

I read, "Corrupt" is great. I love the Penelope Douglas books. And by the way I recommend you,, Silver Swan ,, - Amo Jones. If you have not read, you must read - a really great book.

THANK YOU! Finally someone who understands why I normally don’t like suspenseful romances! It’s not bc of the content, it’s because they’re cheesy AF! With that said, I actually found a couple last year I enjoyed.

Spoiler-ish. I wish Penelope dragged out the part when they finally carried out the plan and she was at their mercy. Call me a masochist but that part gave me serious anxiety and I hardly read books that elicit that kinda response in me. Seemed a waste when the reveal was straight after.

Corrupt 😍😍😍 Was my #1 favorite book in 2016. Still have to read Hideway. Punk 57 is another fucking amazing book by her!!!!

I'm listening to the audiobook and im not done yet. I felt so much trepedation all the time i couldnt sleep last night. I needed to know what would happen to Rika. I was so glad when they finally figured out that she didnt betray them. Cos now i know the threat of rape isnt hanging over her head. I had an "I spit on your grave" satisfactory moment when Rika started pushing back. Espeacially when she hired Alex to take to her bed. I was also proud when she stabbed Damon. I have to say, i enjoyed parts of the book and then other times i was just like...get to the freaking point allreadyThese reviews were the reason why i read punk57 and then Bully. Now Im on Corrupt Btw idont know if punk57 is better than corrupt. They both have the advantage of being written by Penelope so.....Anyways, i've read the dollar series(which is fucking twisted and dark as sin/ also the reason why i never finished it...) and i cant say i loved Corrupt. Im just not fucked up in the mind enough. The grey areas in this book were just unacceptable. Like nobody in real live would still fuck a guy who had such evil plans for them, not so soon after finding out anyway. And Rika letting Kai open up...like what... an hour after he wanted her gaze down on the floor and submissive? Right...not fucking likely. But for the sake of the story, you go along with it. I must say, B.L Brunnemer was my favorite author because of the veil series and i love paranormal stories, but right now Penelope is right up there with her. Still have to see how corrupt ends and if Bully is anything to go on i have no doubt the ending will be great.

I loved this book soo much I was in this kick of wanting to read books when the girl and guy HATE each other and basically torment and torture each other. You should read The peer and the puppet by B.B Ried and Flip Trick or the Elite Kings series by Amo Jones or I dare you by Shantel Tessier they are my all time favorites right now

Tbh tho they should adapt it into a movie

The boy isabusive,the girl dont stand up for herself, the guy treats her like sheet and she allows it ,this is first time i have not complited a book.

After watching this review I picked it up right away and couldn’t put it down. It had me hooked! Also hands down had the hottest scene I’ve ever read. I’m obsessed

The birthday girl was awesome..

You should read some of T. M Frazers books. It has some dark stuff.
