A thing I love about this is how the rich dad looks so much like my school counselor.

I have mentored a young lady in Los Angeles for years. When she went through the 'brat' years "I am treated so terribly!! My life sucks!!!" She has a very comfortable life. We brought her to Skid Row every weekend for a month. She helped in the soup kitchen, met people who slept on the ground. Lived a way she had never realized. She quickly learned compassion, and is now a very lovely young woman. Sometimes all one needs is perspective. Thanks SSSniperwolf, you give me perspective in many ways. Love all you do.

If you’re only her mentor, then you never know what’s going on behind closed doors. Don’t immediately judge a teenage girl for what you’re hearing. She might be going through some stuff. It’s disgusting how insensitive some adults can be, coming from a teenage girl who has attempted Su¡cide multiple times in the past few years, and then being labeled a “brat” because I lived such a “lavish life” as the daughter of a wealthy family. Some thoughts can be really painful.

I thought it was so sweet how the spoiled daughter made a complete turn around and even let her new sister share her bedroom.

My family on my dad's side is pretty rich, so a bunch of stuff that I get will either come from my parents because they are decently rich too, or my grandparents. some people view me as spoiled either if they've been to my house or not and I can understand that because I am an only child. Yet I'm not a spoiled brat like some people are. One of my friends is also an only child and is pretty much the same way, but tbh he probably has nicer stuff than me but I don't mind cuz life is life.
