Once for my birthday in middle school my grandma made me ALOT of tamales and I took it everyday to school for lunch. They were spicy chicken and cheese with jalapenos. It was basically a pot of them. My mother-in-law was totally shocked when she found out I never had a birthday cake or party. The next birthday she made me my favorite, chocolate pudding and decorated the bowl pretty and we had a big in law family party. I cried.
