When I was younger I was a part of many fandoms and kinda grew out of them, thought maybe it was just the fact that I wasn't a teenage girl anymore who could be totally obsessed with a group/person/tvshow. Then I started watching Supernatural about 2 months ago and was all caught up last week. I have probably seen every single panel there is on youtube, fanvids, interviews and I quickly realized I was part of a fandom again. And guys: I couldn't be happier! Because of all the fandoms I have been a part of, this has got to be the most amazing one. I feel stupid it took me over 10 years to start watching this show, but so glad I did. You're all amazing people!

I saw how much the cast did for the fans and how much the fans did for the cast. I wanted to be a part of this relationship, it is just so amazing and unique. this makes me happy. The show, fandom, watching on KZread. There's so much bad in the world, there's so much crap that I go through and I don't really have anyone besides my mom and brother, so this show - the fandom - youtube - even fanfiction, it gives me a safe place to just go to and relax and calm down. I'm safe here, you know? And that might seem stupid to a lot of people, but for me I can unwind and relax and forget about all the bad because here there's so much support and in the show there's Dean & Sam & Cas and everything's ok.

I feel the same. I only found this show last year but I wish that I had found it earlier. I started from season one and worked my way through to season twelve and everything about this show and the people, both the actors and the fans, make me feel so special and safe. I love that they are all so down to earth and truly do care about us. When I feel like shit I will always either watch the show or bloopers or conventions or even just read the fan fiction that people have written because I forget about all of the crap that's happening around me. I love how welcoming the fandom is and how even though we don't know each other it truly is one big family

Supernatural has got me through some tough times in the last 7 years fighting stage 4 cancer. they gave me 6 months to live that was 7 years ago and I have been in and out of the hospital almost died 3 times between my kids and Supernatural you kept me going. thank you so much you mean so much to me!!!

We're family, and we always have to stick together. There are alot of people out there, people I know, who deal with shitty stuff all the time, who sometimes think that life isn't worth it, but trust me, it is. I've gone through a tough time aswell, and I was in a dark place but I got out and things are better than they ever where and I only have my scars to remind myself of that time. So always keep fighting, things will get better.

I watched supernatural 1-11 without having any idea what kind of fan base and cast I was getting into. And when season 12 is about to come out I started watching a lot of things about not the show but the cast and I think they are all great people and this is the best show ever made

The "Always keep fighting, Always keep fighting" part really got me like... Wow. I have never been on any Convention simply by the Fact that i am not even living in the same country, but seeing that video was really touching and i even am a little bit sad now. But seeing that warmth and happiness gave me something.

I've only been in the fandom, and a part of this amazing family, for only a few months. And for this short amount of time I've fallen in love with not just the characters in the show but also the actors and the members of the cast. Everyone is so loving and caring and watching bloopers, gag reels, and conventions always make me smile. I love how accepting and supportive the fanbase is, and this family is honestly one of the best things in my life. Eventually Supernatural will end but we never will.

I first started watching Supernatural when I recognized their faces, laying in a hospital bed in the pediatric ER. I was bad enough to require 3 nurses and a pulmonary specialist. I was given 4 breathing treatments, two IV bags, and two rounds of steroids. I watched the first 3 episodes of Supernatural there, and I was at home. The comfort of the fandom would help through a rough year. I would continue watching Supernatural all the way through for the first time, but before I would finish (4 months later) I would return to the ER 8 more times. (8 separate events, but 11 more times.) I would end up with a walking boot for 8 weeks, a dislocated knee, and would miss 17 excused days of school (not including 12 for asthma). This is all in 4 months. Now of course there isn't school, so I'm pretty safe.

I like... this show was there for me when nothing/ no one else was. It got me through so much shit. It helped me know that even when I’m physically alone, I am never fully alone. Sometimes I forget how amazing and supportive the Supernatural Family is. But this weekend I was reminded. They did the live streams of the Seattle Convention panels this weekend and I didn't have any money to buy tickets. So, I posted in the chat and asked for help. And people paid for me to watch 3 of the 5 panels. I didn't get to watch the others because I didn't ask for help. This fandom is so loving and giving and it just makes me cry and be thankful that I am apart of this family. Jensen is right, Supernatural the TV show might end, but this fandom, this FAMILY.... that will never end. And I will be apart of it until I die.
